Likes

The ambience all around. Learning to become an all rounder
I can play different sports as well as learn music by joining the clubs

Dislikes

Too much pressure on students for placement
College schedule is very hectic and i couldnt mamage time for self studies
Very crowded the strength is very high due to which college timings have been. altered

Course Curriculum Overview

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since private colleges are expensive and not everybody can afford the fees so did I but I could manage as I was provided with a scholarship of about 60k every semester. Many top Indian companies visit my college

Campus Life

Many students from different countries have joined the college. It feels great to interact with them. There are many clubs in the college. College students can also join NCC. They are trained by NCC heads on a daily basis and it becomes easier for them to join Army.

Admission

I filled out a form that was provided by the university. Students who have passed class 12 with more than 60% were eligible to opt for Btech Computer Science. I was also provided with a scholarship based on my percentage and jee main score.

I am planning to do mtech from this very college and we get some waiver for doing it in the same college..after that i am planning to do a job as a senior software engineer as the demand is increasing day by day for experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

GEU means business of highest order!
