As CSE has lots of opportunities so I choose it. Faculty standard is great they are very good in their departments. Most faculties had done PHDs and MTech. Our exams were timely and it is easy to pass if you do some hard work before 1-2 weeks before the exam.

Most students go for off-campus internship opportunities. Many students got placed in Germany, London, Luxembourg, etc. from here. They are in reputed companies abroad. Nit Srinagar also gives internship opportunities for top tier branches.

Placement is good in our college compared to other NITs we get in these ranks. CSE & IT is considered best here then ECE is also good. You can go for lower branches also, placement does happen in every branch. Our average placement is 13lpa. Every year nearly early 80% of students got placed in this college.

The fee is 73k for a general student per semester. Hostel fee is 8k per semester. Mess fees are 21k for a semester. For other category students, it is less you have to see our college website to get an idea about it.

Campus life is great and it is one of the most beautiful campuses in India. If you want to see Mountains and snowfall you should come for it. The library is good. Clubs and fest happen regularly here with many interested students participating in them. The library on campus is big, and all books, Journals, etc. are available.

The hostel is pretty good. There are 5 students in a room. The hostel is affordable and 8k is charged for one semester. Mess meal is average and they follow the menu. The mess has both non-vegetarian and vegetarian foods included on the menu.

Admission will be based on jee main rank. You should check the recent cutoff so that you get an idea about your preferred college. You have to do counseling which is organized by jossa every year.
