low budget college,that can provide u good knowledge

College is good for those who want to secure there future by studing and hard working without hard working you can not do anything in this college because they provide you oppertunities based on your grades. college lack security of students in terms of placement and threats from local residents.

I got admission through WBJEE. My rank was 9812 and i got mechanical engineering dept. and the reason of chossing this college was good educational environment, good placement.

the structure of course is designed by MAKAUT(Maulana Abul kalam university of technology). The course focus on overall development of student knowledge in the field of science,research and technology.The course has been equally divided into 8 parts according to the years.

college provide industrial training at the end of 5th and 6th semester depending upon the branch they send the students to different companies like HPL,IOCL Haldia,Tata steel,and many more companies.if the student is intrested in doing vocational training they can provide you NOC.

placement is satisfactory moreover It comapnies recruits student on mass scale like Wipro, Infosys,Tech mahindra. many good companies too visit like Johnson control,HPL,Exide etc.It companies provide a package of around 3.25 LPA, and companies like HPL 6.5 to 7 LPA . The placement of chemical engineering dept. is very good because of large number of chemical industries situtated in haldia.

many events are conducted within college on regular basis by different college groups like NEEDS,SAMARPAN,JIGYASA etc. Rang milanti is celebrated at the time if holi, annual cultural meet. Technical fest Prayukti and cultural fest Rivera are combinedly celebrated evey year in the month april.Annual sports meet is celebrated in the month of februray.

Tution fee of this college is lowest among all private colleges. its around 30-31thousand per semester plus 12 thousand hostel fee. it is very feasible for every students. college also provide fee consesion to the minor community students. students of tfw community are given free hostel facility. university fee is Rs1000 per semester which is paid at the time of semester exam.

College always provide a scholorship of 30 thousand to each branch toppers every years. they give 20thousand to student of year from each year student.they give free education to minor students of west bengal. loan is easily been credited by banks.

Campus life is full of enjoyment the view of college is quit awesome.campus is spread in 49 acres. The total strenght of girls is around 900.There are five resturant inside college premises which feed the hungry stomach of students. different clubs organise workshops on robotics, circuitronics. Manab racing is iconic in college.college is rich with students of differnent culture and religion. most of the students are from the state of BIHAR,JHARKHAND,UP and WEST BENGAL. minor from Assam, and Buttan. Inter dept. sports activities are always conducted which boost every students to participate in games for there dept. The drama club organise social awarness.they give tution to the local resident childerns for free of cost. many time book and cloths donation camps are organise to help the needy people.

Hostels are good there are 14 hostels separte for each years each hostel have its own playground for volleyball,badminton and table tennis. Hostel Mess is horrible the food is of poor quality always you have to go for private mess. Many students prefer PG'S over hostel as they provide good food at less cost.

Every year college conduct alumni meet "FHIR DEKHA" in which many pass out seniors participate and share their views about their college life and currently what they are doing.the alumni network among students are not so much strong because of less interaction with seniors because of fear of getting ragged.

college take 2 minors(Internals) of 30 marks each and semester exam is conducted by MAKAUT which is of 70 marks.Lab exam are conducted by college teachers.they ask question based on the performance in past exams and give you numbers according to that.Exam are centrally organised students are given a little loose to copy from micro cheats of question bank of previous years question. Cheating in exam depends on exam conductor if he wish he can give you some time to copy.

The admission process was totally been conducted by wbjee.After allotment of seat i had to report to the college with my all documents. It was 3 step process first filling of form,second verification of original documents,third submition of tution fee. The verificatiin process is quit lenghty they verify each document for atleast 3 times.

The faculty of this college is more or less good not much good you can say. they are always in a hurry of completing the syllabus.At the end they never complete the chapters.just give you the overview of the chapters.They are not highly qualified always get confused while teaching.
