- I like the ground in the winter time when all the students gathered together and the college felt alive
- Library of the college was great as it had all the books related to the competition exams .
- Place for NCC cadets is great as it is below the tree and a little far from the main building
Dislikes
- I didn't liked the canteen as it was too old fashioned and the food was not good and the quantity also but now after the tender was given to other it has become great with various options
- Sitting management of the college was not that much good in some classes
- Water management system should be in a certain manner and working at all place
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I am going to pursue in govt services so it'll be an easy option for me. Student ratio among the class is very less in comparison to girls to boys. Qualification of the teachers is pretty high in wrt the college and young teachers are there in good quantity. Exams timing was a bit late for us as we were the batch after the corona but to pass the exam I just have to study a week and a day before practicals.
Internships Opportunities
I didn't apply for any internships as most of them were for sales and Marketing and they were paying too less and the students applying for them were too high. But the placement cell had a group for the students in which they regularly inform about the upcoming job opportunities
Fees and Financial Aid
Our fees were increased by the college last year as they were saying that they are going to build a huge Computer lab for us as we were in Bsc CS. Infrastructure is changed drastically. Today's shyam lal college is way better in infrastructure than the previous one. I didn't get the job in shyam lal but there is a placement cell and the selection ratio is very less most of the jobs and internships are for sales and marketing.
Campus Life
Fest is conducted on regular basis by different societies and it depends upon the society only. Books and journals are Available in good quantity even the competition books are available in the library which you can take home if you want to study alone at home. The classroom of college is a bit uncomfortable in some classes otherwise they are decent. Sports grounds are maintained in good shape but sometimes they don't allow us to play in them.
Admission
12th-pass students are eligible for admission to this college. There are many courses mostly in Arts and some in Science. BSc , BA, MA etc Before the corona period there was a reservation and till now after CUET also there are reservation-based seats according to the system.
