Remarks

College is one of the finest institutions in india with one of the best education there id to offer at undergraduate level. It is also most trusted institute in the country. Its alumini need no introductions.

Entrance Preview

Du entrance for masters. Also did bsc from here selected on merit basis 97% cbse PCM. Having cleared the cut off i easily got into bsc nd then i got into msc as easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Teachers are exceptionally brilliant. Environment is super friendly. Every moment is an enjoyment. Curriculum is very well designed . originally i was enrolled in fyup four year undergraduate program. But due to unfortunate circumstances it was rolled back and reverted to 3 years. Still teachers and course setters took up this task and performed flawlessly.

Internships Opportunities

No internship but projects are there which are done free of cost. Many researcher scholars give hands on experience of research in their fields to interested students.

Placement Experience

2

Not well.there is no well formed placement cell in the college and the placements are limited to economics and commerce sections. There are almost no job opportunity in bachelor's and very few in master courses. There is a need for a lot of work in placement cells and job opportunity section jn the college but there is still hope. No one is perfect after all.

College Events

5

Mecca our yearly fest is an epithet for great event with lots of fun and frolic. Then there. Is medina our dramtics fest. Many other cultural events and departmental fests are worth visiting. Parliamentary debate is also something which is worth watching. One can see debates on various college issues. Politics at its zenith can be seen at the stage at that moment. Freshers and grad night are also excellent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible. My annual fees rarely exceeds 10k and never exceeded 16k in my masters course. Which is very affordable. There is also special concession for poor students who have difficulty in managing the fee structure. Fee of hostel was also very cheap and there are few who would complain.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. But most students prefer govt scholarships having performed nicely jn their board exams.i personally prefered inspire scholarship over the college scholarship since it pays us better and has more merit to it in many other ways.

Campus Life

4

One word: supercool.students don't really leave our college but they remain a part of college forever. Parliamentary system of our college which one of the most unique systems in the country is something which is something worth commending. Gender ratio is quite good. People from all walks of life can be seen in the campus. We can actually see unity in diversity in the campus of the hindu college.

Hostel Facilities

5

Between good and excellent.getting hostell in hindu college is a very very tough job especially for genral category students. U have to be the best of the best in ur subject to actually stand a chance to get hostel. But those who manage to get hostels live a life of comfort and there are rarely any reasons to complain.

Alumni/Alumna

Dissatisfied.must keep a good connection with passout students but they fail at it. Having said that students don't really leave our college but they remain a part of college forever. Parliamentary system of our college which one of the most unique systems in the country is something which gives the college hope that this might change soon.

Exam Structure

Labs are very well equipped. Exams structure is good if not excellent.there is a predictable pattern in the exams which i personally don't like. Marking scheme is lineint and it is a childs play to pass the exam if u know what to study. Our schedules were hectic on some days and relaxed on others. Overall it was fun.

Admission

Du entrance for masters rank 91. Also did bsc from here selected on merit basis 97% cbse PCM. I got admission in first cut off (96.67% ) in physics hons course. Then i got msc admission just after i passed the entrance exam. In short there wasn't any difficulty in admission.

Faculty

5

Very very very qualified. Most teachers are research scholars having done phd and post doctrate work. Many teachers are ver well known inside their respective communities of science arts and humanities. Many teachers also take up philanthropic work. And many have won awards in india as well as outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MSC operations research, which is a very vast and deep course. It goes deep into understanding business operations and providing the businesses with best quality steps. There were real life projects which have helped me alot in understanding difficult topics. If there could be more projects it would have been more helpful for studies. The exams level is moderate to difficult, have to study hard to perform good in tests/exams.
