Dislikes
- Very compact campus area and lack of space in the campus . The campus has a very small ground.
- Teaching style of teachers can be considered to be moderate and not very good.The syllabus coverage is also moderate
- 75% attendance is mandatory in the college otherwise the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the semester exams which is not a good rule.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course due to the number of job opportunities in this field. the student-faculty ratio is approximately 110:1 All The teachers are Highly qualified and have done at least a master's in their respective fields. The first and the second semester was too short due to late admissions which were of 3 months but the remaining 6 semesters are approximately 5 months each. The exam is not so much difficult. It can be considered moderate in toughness level.
Placement Experience
The student is eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. Many Mass recruiter companies such as TCS, Wipro, IBM, Cognizant, etc. Arrives in the college for providing job opportunities. The number of offers made by the company changes every year. For the year 2022, the Avg. The package was 6.5 lpa and the highest package was 13 LPA. Fees and Financial Aid
The overall course fee for the session 2022-2026 for all the candidates except TFW candidates is 5.5 lakh and for TFW candidates the fee is 2.18 lakhs Since it is a private college, there is no scholarship available for the students but there is an availability of paid internships on the merit basis
Campus Life
Ankuran is the cultural fest of the college and is conducted in the month of April. Apart from this there are many departmental fests that are conducted monthly by the simultaneous departments. The books related to the courses in the college are easily available but any book except this cannot be availed. Technotkarsh is the sports club of the college and provides an opportunity to participate in various games such as kabaddi, cricket, football, chess, carrom,s print race, and many more. There are two special tournaments conducted in the college for cricket and football named TPL and TISL respectively. There are many clubs and social groups in the college. -IIC official coding club -Technotkarsh official sports club -Electric official literary club -Samarth social service club -Geekonix official photography club And many more.
Admission
All the information regarding admission will be available on the official WBJEE site. There are three ways for being eligible to get admission in Techno Main Salt Lake. The two entrance exams are either JEE MAIN or WBJEE or via management quota. The distribution of the seats in this college is as follows: 80% of seats are reserved for the candidates taking admission through WBJEE. 10% for JEE MAIN. And the remaining 10% for management quota. The candidates must have completed their higher secondary with mathematics and physics to take admission in b.tech courses. The college also offers management courses e.g. BBA and BMS. TFW candidates would only have to pay 2.18 lakh for the four-year b. Tech course for the session 2022-2026.
