College placement department is very hard working and tries to bring as many companies to college for placements and that is what a student requires. Over all good colledge.

I had to give KIITEE(KIIT entrance exam) whose form is available for free.The form comes in month of March.Marks are not displayed on the examination portal after the exam is finished and nor they send the scores in their result.Only thing we come to know is our rank.My Rank was 4620 and beacuse CSE/IT is the demand of it industries ,I opted for Computer Science branch.Kiit is one of the best private college in Orissa and provides a lot of exposure to the students.As KIIT offers education for different degrees so students come across different stream students like medical students and MBA Students.

The coarse of KIIT is based on UGC coarse pattern.Although KIIT tries to expose their students to the latest technologies required by industries through various workshops and career changing courses like Python, Networking,Machine Learning,IOT etc.There are different teachers who work on Research feild with whom students can do research work.

Yes Kiit provides internship opportunities in companies like Amazon with 40000/month, Endurance with 60000/month Optum with 60000/month and many other companies like mu Sigma ,hi radius , Inautix technologies who provide more than 30000 per month.

For computer science students there is 100 percent placement opportunity. Company. Offer Mu Sigma. 700000 Optum. 700000 Amazon. 1600000 Microsoft. 1000000 Deloitte. 650000 Endurance. 1800000 Infosys. 360000 Wipro. 320000 Accenture. 380000 Cognizant. 450000 However the placement for other branches like civil and mechanical is not good.Every year many students remain unplaced in civil and mechanical department of KIIT.

In KIIT every month there is an event KIIT fest in December which is the biggest event In KIIT every year.Celebrities are invited to the event like sharing Khan and various singers.There is a dj night and star night.Participation is upto 25000 people KIIT Mun India's largest MUN(MODEL UNITED NATION) occurs every year and lacks of rupees is spent in KIIT mun to make it a grand success.Participation is upto 2500 students KRITARTHA KRITAGYA WHICH IS TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION where participation is upto 1000 students.

The college fees is very expensive.I am in third year and we have to pay 143500 per semester.But for first year students it is even more.Apart from semester fees we have to give examination fees of 1000 rupees every semester.So taking admission in KIIT is a costly affair.

College gives a scholarship to the student having first rank in KIIT of 400000 rupees.Also the students who top semester get scholarships.People can get loans for study as I have taken.

Their are various societies in KIIT like wordsmith and debating society related to improving soft skills.It and web development society Konnexions which is a technical society which teaches Android development,web development etc.Enactus, NSS(National Service Scheme),Maitri are the societies which do social work.E-cell which is an entrepreneurship society where students learn about various entrepreneurship activities.Workshops of Mozilla and GDG (Google Developer Group) is held every month.Recently their was a workshop of winley which provides us free certification coarse for Big data.

The hostel facility is good.Rooms are clean and workers are employed for keeping the rooms clean.Every weak insecticide is sprayed to protect us from insects and in case of any health issue hostel wardens take us to Kalinga hospital where checkups are done free of cost for KIIT students.Mesh food is very good.They provide non veg as well as veg.Nin veg mostly contains chicken and sometimes egg and fish as well.Mesh provides break fast in the morning ,mid day meal,snacks In evening and dinner at night.Proper care is taken for sanitation as the people serving food in mesh wear gloves and head caps.

KIIT has most helpful seniors.They are very nice to the juniors and keep the juniors informed about the placements.They become friends and help us alot.Kiit is a ragging free zone.

There are two exams every semester with a break of 2 months First is 25 marks mid sem and 15 marks internal and then second is 60 marks end sem.Exams are not so hard and people can give their exam even after last minute study.There are 3-4 labs every semester and every lab is of 3 hours but that to is not hectic.

First I had to fill the form for KITEE Exam.It is available for free from the month of March.Then a link came where I had to provide the location where I wanted to give the exam.Then I gave my exam in Kanpur institute of technology.Then results were announced in the end of may where we were called for counselling.Counselling is done in Bhubhaneswar and they asked for 65000 counselling fees where they provided me a latest technology laptop with very good specifications and other things that are needed in hostels.

Faculty is very qualified here in KIIT.Every teacher has done MTECH from different iits and some have come from foreign also.Many teachers are involved in some or the other research work.The faculty is very experienced and has a very versatile way of teaching.They have got one of the best teachers in India. Allthough people can find it difficult to understand teachers language for first few months but as time passes students get used to the language.
