The used to read a lot as I really love to read and English literature would a great addition to my career. The faculty is great and the quality of teaching is also nice. Although most of the classes were held online due to corona pandemic still managed it pretty well and took daily classes which helped us to complete our syllabus on time. In my batch, the number of students was between 18-19 and in the batch which got admitted after we have a student ratio of 25-30. Our college follows the CBCS system which semester wise exams under the University of Calcutta. The exams use to happen after every 6 months but our first 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th semesters were held online which was not timely as per the normal timeline.

The fee structure is affordable and not much. The fees for each semester are around 3500 to 4500. The students from economically weaker sections can apply for concessions or scholarships for which they have reached to college office with the necessary documents.

Although I have spent much of my college life at home still the first half of the first year and second half of last year were enough to make my college life memorable. The college arranges fresher's parties for first-year students, apart from fresher's party out college also organises several departmental programs and seminars in which anyone can participate. The biggest event which takes place is the college fest in which big musicians and celebrities were called. Talking about the college infrastructure it is pretty decent. The college library, restroom, labs, canteen and a small sports complex is available. The college also has a union run by students who are really very helpful.

The admission process for the college was very much simple. I had a very smooth experience. There is no entrance exam for this exam. The admission is done completely on class 12 marks. After the declaration of class 12 results, the college will give a notification on their website regarding the addmission. You have to apply online and fill the required details and pay the required application fee which is very much affordable. After the completion of the application process within 2 to 3 weeks the merit list will be uploaded on the college website. The selected students then get a notification for the addmission fees and then get a call for the verification process which is simple and won't be of much trouble but you have keep in mind that you have filled the application form correctly or else if the information varies with your original documents then you might get disqualified for the admission. If found disqualified your addmission fee will be refunded.
