Course Curriculum Overview
I choose a B.Sc. in botany because I was more interested in plants and I want to join the research field in botany itself. The faculty here are well educated there interaction with students is very motivating. Most of the faculty here are doctorate or Ph.D. holders. The teaching method is fabulous the plans field study, practical's, experiments, and summer training to encourage the student. It can be mushroom cultivation, winery, learning various tools and techniques, etc. The exam is according to semester bases 2 exams annually. 1st semester held in oct-nov and 2nd held in May -June.
Placement Experience
For eligibility, you must have graduated in any field. The average package is 2lac. Most of the students apply for placement but the result is hardly about 5-10%. After my degree, I will pursue a postgraduate and then will apply for Ph.D.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for B.sc are affordable up to 10k only. The scholarship we get from the college is in January if your percentage is above 70-75 then only you are eligible. For subject such as microbiology or biotechnology the fees is high. And for post-graduation M.sc botany or zoology, the fees are up to 70k for 2 years.
Campus Life
Usually, the annual fest takes in January. Here they will celebrate saree day, tradition day, mismatch day, etc. And also the gathering program will be held. Sports and extracurricular activities do take place on campus.
Admission
So, I applied for B.sc in HPT arts and RYK science without any entrance exam. The admission is based on your board exam marks with 50% above applicable. But if you opt for subjects such as microbiology or biotechnology then cutoffs are usually higher than the plain B.Sc. For admission the form u get on the college window and submit it there only. The admission process starts after the result of the 12th board examination in June- July. The overall fees for plain B.Sc. are up to 10k only. If anyone has a reservation will get more benefits.
