my experience with beautiful Kashmir valley and engineering

In my view NIT SRINAGAR is a good college . simplicity of the people towards us is good enough for us.here facility management is good enough . department are working their job good.

IIT JEE main 2017 I scored 99.and in JEE advance I scored not very good marks thats why I choose my entry through JEE mains . because of my marks I choose civil engineering department in national institute of technology Srinagar . I have much interest in the building , bridge and interest in geometry.

After getting admitted in college I received time table for the class es .my class starts from very first week of August.teachers are very regular and always on time.after some days fresher orientation was organised by college in which We were introduced to our concerned authorities. teaching & non teaching staff were present there . they introduced about all the department and give us the syllabus for the year.here many labs like computer lab , chemistry, physics, workshop practice , engineering drawing department.teaches are well qualified and are experienced.they use technology for better understanding & give various examples to understand the students.library is consist of large number of books.

yes our college provide internship.because I am first semester student so I don't know much about it but senior told me about it.studets go for internship with the help of professors who teaches them. Professors have contact of various companies like TCS, Maruti Suzuki , Mahindra, TATA,IBMetc . students normally went for internship in vacation period .

Here in nit Srinagar placement is in between average and good.maximum placement happening in CSE branch . computer science engineering,. after that electronics and communication, after that electronics , after that mechanical .here placement in civil engineering department also good.chemical engineering department have an average placement . companies that offer job here are TCS, Maruti,ABB, Indian oil,NTPC,DRDO,TATA,IRCON,ALSTOM,SIMLEX,NHPC,HPCL,ACC,HCC,WIPRO,POWER GRID,HONDA MOTOR, SATYAM COMPUTER, MAHINDRA and many more.here WIPRO ,TCS, Maruti Suzuki are the mass recruiter offered packages about 4 to 5 lakhs per annum.many of them offered packages about 20 to 25 lakhs per annum. Some of them able to get 10 to 15 lakh also.in last year's highest package reached about 72 lakhs per annum.

There are various programs organised in common hall.including science and technology and various speech and debate programs are conducted by concerned departments.like wise workshop of various events also organised.quiz programs, dance, orientation s,and many other programs.along with this many cultural program like Durga Puja are celebrated here , Dussehra etc.

Here fee for per semester for a general students is almost 75000 .and those who belong to some other categories differs in amount.for s SC&ST candidate it is about 21000 along with all academic fee.for OBC candidate with parents income less than 5 lakhs is about 37000.it is little bit expensive for general students.

I don't know about it much but human resource development organisation provided scholarship for the students.there is the schlorship for minority students which is provided by MHRD.there is also provision for the students who belong to poor family provided by MHRD on the basis of there income certificate.

Here campus is very beautiful .it consists of many trees of Chinar, various types of flowers and green lawn.beautuful hill on the background.DUL lake outside campus.here for the current year 2298 students are registered of them almost 280 female student.here students from all parts of India are studying.here a coding club is formed by the seniors where we learn coding in different languages like C, C++, JAVA, python.program like quiz , debate , robotics are organised at regular intervals.they are really very helpful to all technocrats.

Hostel facility here is very good condition electricity and water supply are very regular. in my room there are three members with all are provided separate almirah there is big enough space in the room so there is no more difficulty for us to adjust.a fan and switch board are available.mess facility is also running smoothly.we get food always on time and is hygienic enough.

Seniors are very helpful nature.they always asked me about what difficulty I feel they're trying best to solve it.they told us what to study ?,how to study?there suggestions are very helpful to me.they taught us what to do next?

Exams are conducted here at regular intervals to check understanding . here in each semester there is two minor exams of20 marks each.and there is a major exam consist of 50 marks.along with this class test also taken by teachers.in case of.labs we have to give viva for the experiment conducted by us .along with this there is a separate viva also for the workshop practice.

after clearing IIT JEE advance authority of IIT JEE provide us to fill choice. according to the mark obtained in JEE I firstly check all branches in every government colleges like IIT , NIT , IIIT. I finally got civil engineering department in NIT Srinagar.JOSSA provide us to fill the fee in nearest NIT where I had gone for documents verification and fee submittion . documents including DOB proof ,12th marks sheet , category certificate ,TC, migration certificate , medical certificate, character certificate and I'd proofs.after this I pack my bags for nit Srinagar.when I reached there I submitted my allotment letter to the concerned authorities after that they allotment me hostel.and after that I pay my hostel & mess fee.

Here all the facilities whom I know are very good in nature and very much teaching experience .most of them have done doctorate from prestigious college.they understand what we actually want from them for a particular problem they suggest us different ways . besides engineering they also taught us about different things happening in world. Here humanity and social sciences department told us about different Life aspects .
