Life of a student in IIIT Sricity

IIIT Sricity has the well designed course curriculum and experienced faculty members who is strive to provide the quality education to the students .it offers undergraduate and the post graduate programs in the computer science .The student ratio is arround the 14:2 . Our college faculty members who are expert in thier respective feild ,they hold advanced degress from the reputated institutions and have extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. There are 3 exams in one sem [mid1(15%) mid2(15%) mid3/End(20%) schedule quizes of (15%) and remaining is of projects and the class participation ].

Our institue has a dedicated carrer devlopmental which assists students in the securing internship and placements with reputated companies. Some of the prominent companies that offer internships to our college include Amazon ,Micorsoft , Abode ,Goldman sachs .IBM ,Nokia etc

Our college has an excellent placement record ,with an many top companies visiting the campus for the recruitment . our college has a dedicated placemcent cell that provides training and placement assistance to its students .The placement cell conducts various activities such as mock interviews and industry interactions to prepare students for placement . Actually the placement season at our college starts in the final year of the course .several leading companies from various sectors including IT,E-commerce ,Finance and consulting ,visit the campus for the recruitment .Some of the top recruiters at our college include Amazon .Microsoft ,Goldman -sachs ,capgemini ,and deloitte.The average placement package arround 12-15 lakhs per annum .Some students also recive higher packages depending on thier skills and expertise .Upon the completion of the course Students can puruse higher studies or take up jobs in their respective feilds and slo explore enterpreneurship oppurtunity.

IIIT Sricity has a fee structure that is too high compare to similar colleges offering Ug and Pg programs in the enginnering and technology in india . BTech : The annual tution fee for the btech programm is around 250000. Mtech : The annual tution fee for the btech program is arrounf 180000. Also it offers scholarship and financial assitance to deserving students who have secure high rank in the national or state-level entrance exams , such as jee main and APEAMCET. It provides various oppurtunities for scholarships (NSP) financial assistance and campus jobs to deserving students, ensuring that they have access to quality education without any financial constraints

Apart from the academics ,IIITS has the great and vibrant campus life with a range of activities and oppurtunities for explore thier intrests , socialise with peers and devlop new skills . There are many clubs like (Upsc , coding ,Gdsc .Iot , dance ,music , film ,matrix etc) .The insitute has student council that organizes various events and activities for the student community . Our college also hosts various cultural and social events throughout the sem ,such as festivals ,sports tournment ,and cultural shows ,which provides oppurtunities for students to showcase thier talents and engage with thier peers .ABHISARGA is the annual techno -Cultural fest .It also provides a range of amenities that cater to the need of its student ,faculty anf staff which ensures a comfortable and conductive environment for learning research and personal growth.

Our college provides on-campus accomadation facilities for the students .It has the seperate hostels for boys and girls ,which is well furnished and equipped with all necessary amenities such as wifi-conncetivity ,24/7 security ,laundry facilities ,and a mess that serves nutritious and hygenic food . Boys are staying the college hostels (bh1 and bh2 )and girls were staying in the rented accomodation .2 persons for 1 room and each one of them have one table and chair and one cupboard .The hostels have dedicated wardens for the each hostels who oversees the day to day activities and ensures the safety and well being of the students .The hostel mess food is also good for both south and north india , in morning time they will provide bread, milk ,coffe tea,jam every day along with banana and the oats . Currently they are renting the apartments from the apartments like vaidehi and A1 creekside .The intime for the students into the hostels is exact 8 pm .

Selection of the students done based on the performance of the jee main score (atleast 96 percentile above) through the jossa and csab round ,you can find the full details of the admission process in iiits.com (website) . The percentage for the reserved seats is based on the guidlines set by the Government of the India.For the instancs,as of 2021,The reservation percentage for the SC ,ST,OBC and EWS categories is 15%,7.5%,27%and 10% respectively.As of now there is less strength of the girls .So its better if they increase the percentage of the girls .
