I selected this college through centralised counselling which used to happen during 2001. Had done basic research about the college, infra, student crowd and teachers

College has the very good infrastructure for all the branches of Engineering and best in university for Mechanical Engineering. They have now started with M Tech and would have added more facilities. I was an outsider (non Maharashtrian) but was treated with all respect and love. There was absolute harmony in the students and problems were if any well taken care of provided you give your share of respect and room to all categories of students.

There was no paid internships offered. However we could manage our internships with our own network.I did my internships at Heavy Engineering Corporation, Ranchi and Tata Motors, Jamshedpur. Both were arranged by me through my personal contacts

TPO had just started. Opportunities at our time was less since this college is based in rural area. However the following companies had come during my time: Mahindra, NashikTyco Electronics, PuneSiemens, Nashik,3i Infotech and many.With time this list has further expanded and many companies have started coming down for campus.I got offer from Tyco and joined them. The best part is that you have almuni of this college is almost all good companies of india like Microsoft, HCL, Tata, Maruti, Bosch etc. Since this college is located in heart of industries you will not have problem with finding jobs. You can look for jobs even after passing out and you will definitely find one in Pune, provided you have been serious with studies and completed engineering with good marks.You need to focus on studies and you will be able to surely end up with good job.

We had various national level paper presentation events being organised. Participation is good and you can build your network with students outside. Annual day is the best celebration which happens. Various regional festivals are also celebrated with equal enthu

Fees are generally published. For students through CBSE entrance exams have lower fees students through mgmt quota will have different fee structures. Please check for the latest structures

You can get various study loans offered by various banks. I did not avail any loan but other students had taken various bank loans

Hostel is decent and you would enjoy your stay there. You have various options of food but you will take time to adjust to food habits. Not a big thing as the story is same everywhere

Had experience of interacting with various almuni and really enjoyed my days with them. They try to support you with whatever is possible.Had interacted with various seniors and they were able to guide us on various career options available

This college is affiliated to University of Pune and follows the curriculum.Days are quite relaxed and you have sufficient time to complete all the activities. However as engineers you do plan various activities to be completed only at night :)Has got gym

Teachers were very good, knowledgeable,very friendly and supportive.
