- placement is not too good as compared to other IIITs and equivalent NITs .
- Life in college don't exist no green plants trees all trees are dry and this area don't have good quality drinking water.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science here is industry based and the college going to develop an Integrated IT park with TCS which holds 15% of college ownership. faculty: student ratio is 1:10. Faculty are highly qualified with PhDs from NITs and IITs and also some from foreign universities. To pass the exam you have to not struggle hard but the curriculum is quite difficult.
Internships Opportunities
college have policy one personal internship policy. Under this, each person gets an internship and can apply for another one if the stipend of the other is more than the last. Some students have also cracked GSOC and many are doing very well in competitive programming.
Placement Experience
As college is new its placement is growing year on year and nagpur is not to good loction for IT companies. But the average package is equivalent to VNIT Nagpur. Mainly all tech gaints involving some good HFT firms like Mcrosoft, Alphagrep, Rakuten, Samsung etc. Average salary was recorded 12.04 Lakhs per annum. This year Highest salary (goldman sachs) was offered 86 lakhs per annum in UK. I will opt for placement after college.
Fees and Financial Aid
No considerable fee hike. On average 4 lakh is the yearly fee for all courses. You can avail of state government and central government scholarships and some NGOs too. And it's an institute of national importance.
Campus Life
The annual fest tantra fiesta is generally organized in the month of February. The library has all the important books of course and some magazines. The classrooms are quite spacious and well-furnished. Sports facilities are some which are lagging. There are basic indoor games and development is going on. There are many clubs and the coding culture is fabulous.
Hostel Facilities
hostel facility in college is good as compared to a government college. A new hostel is built which is well maintained. Its fee is 35000 for one semester and it is little. Food in mess is adequate to survive not too good not too bad.
Admission
Admission is given through jossa on basis of jee main score to the top 3 percentile. Reservation of obc ncl and sc/St can be availed. Admission process is quite smooth. You need a central government certificate.
