- Fest is the only thing we love in du colleges. Famous artists are invited on the days of annual fest.
- In the last fest of my college famous artists were invited - famous singer (bollywood) was invited which was best part of the fest .
- Dj night , a rapper , Qawwali groups, a famous instrumental group was also invited.
Dislikes
- Cancellation of classes at last moment. Teachers cancels the classes whenever they want with giving any prior information to students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to do so. Qualification of the faculty is good but classes are held in very less. Exams are not much difficult even one can pass the exam by studying only for two days before exams. Times are okay. The teachers are helpful.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is different in every college of Delhi University according to the infrastructure and ratings. I've chosen the B.Com program and the course per year is 20,000 and students who submit the income certificate of their father get a reduction in the fees after having an interview( if got selected).
Campus Life
Delhi University is famous for fests. Every DU colleges have different fests on different days with different artists, decoration, etc. Library is good, well maintain with limited books, and provides a good environment for self-study to students. Extracurricular activities took place almost every day. Societies always prepare some good activities for students. DU colleges don't have clubs, gyms, etc. But my college (Shivaji College) is famous for its big sports ground with a cricket club for outsiders too. It has different sports equipment and a canteen too.
Admission
The admission process was very simple. I just had to go through the cut-off list and select the college according to my 12 board's result ( basis on percentage) and afterward, the college will provide a seat( if available), thereafter I had to pay the fees accordingly online.
