Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to have a Deeper Knowledge of Civil Construction and Beautifying Society. the class has the strength of 100 students with a 55:45 male: female ratio, Nice teaching method USing a smart board and projector. the exams are Conceptual Based end Semester examination

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is very minimal there is no fee hiking till now No scholarship or Financial Assistance for me but there are some Scholarship programmes No job has to be appointed as I am a 2nd yr Student

Campus Life

Pyrokinesis (Annual fest of Assam Engineering College) and Skoar Athlima (gaming fest) mostly happen around the month of March to May The library has a Sufficient no. of books present for all semesters and a good silent environment to study Fans benches with desks Smart Tv green board projector many extracurricular activities such as cricket football tennis and dance singing music competitions are conducted quite frequently Many social groups are present . One of the biggest groups is SOVIC of AEC

Admission

Eligibility is 12th pass with a minimum 60% mark aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. you can Fill up the form for the entrance Examination at ASTU (Assam Science Technology and University) and Provide the necessary Documents for Educational Qualification with Entrance Test

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

The placement of Assam engineering College is average as compared to the other colleges like iit and not. Aec gives placement around 20-24 lakhs and many company parts in the placement cell and many of the students get their dream job

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.
