- Has a very balanced collage life with importance given to both studies and cultural programmes
- Anatomy department is very good and has highest cadaver number is any collage in Karnataka (14) and collage have good patient inflow
- It is in the heart of the city and traveling becomes easy as bus stand and railway station is around 2km away
Dislikes
- Collage does not have proper sports grounds
- The quality of mess food goes on decreasing as the year goes on
- Some departments teaching is not that good but it is common in medical collages
Course Curriculum Overview
I have a deep passion to study the human body and serve people. Have highly qualified teachers who are authors of books in the anatomy department. Term exams are held in the gap of 2 months and can be easily cleared with regular study.
Internships Opportunities
Intership is in a Civil hospital in our campus compound and has good patient inflow, next year they are also inaugurating a new super specialty hospital, and patients usually speak Kannada, Marathi, and Hindi.
Fees and Financial Aid
The mess fee is 2800 per month other expenses are minimal. The hostel fee is 9000 per year, and they usually charge around 1-3k for record books and id cards. Students can apply for various scholarships via online portals- NSP AND SSP(KARNATAKA).
Campus Life
Our college is average with regards to fests and other cultural events, main events include cosplay nights, freshers party, Ganesha Chaturthi, graduation ceremony and sports tournaments are not organized properly, have a very good library with a wide range of books, the class room can accommodate 150 students with good lighting, ventilation, and equipment.
Hostel Facilities
In the room, we are provided with an almirah, study table, and chair, good lighting with common bathrooms with facilities for washing clothes. Have nonveg on Sundays and has the typical quality of mess food, mostly south Indian food, and roti is also provided regularly, hostel affordability is minimal.
Admission
Eligibility- must pass class 12, and qualify for the neet exam. Application form for neet counseling is given after the neet exam and the fee is 1000 rupees ( this is for Karnataka domicile counseling). For all India it is different. I got a Muslim reservation.
