The college is well known for its campus and teaching since the top most qualified teacher helps students in every aspect There are proctors available for every 20 Students in the class of 60. Exams are taken in hardest way possible and as a college of high rating you might expect that

Great internship opportunities. The college provides a large number of opportunities for working in the college and joining various competitions abroad and in India. College-affiliated workshops also provide great internships

Placement Experience

Placements are getting good every year since people are understanding the value of btech engineering and many jobs are getting offered but you dont get no need to worry since the college gives internships that will help your profile to develop.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is 8% of the total fees and the fee structure is quite simple since you dont have to pay fees in bulk but in step instalments that have a due date. cost of study I find is reasonable since the college is autonomous.

Campus Life

The social life is best because of the event conducted by the college are top notch and not only the events but the drives and fest they hold are way better than any other college in Mumbai. Somaiya College is a pure Veg college as non-veg is strictly not allowed on college premises

Hostel Facilities

College is located in Mumbai so you know that the rental price is not going to be pocket friendly but still hostels are way affordable but if stay with 4 people group you can easily rent a room near.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

50 % above in 12th is the eligibility. Application dates and everything regarding the admission process can be found at Somaiya official site No improvement is needed as it provides with all the data required I took admission on the basis of 12th std. and jee mains percentile

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

Kit College have piller's Foucus, Decipline, Process, Excillence.

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

After 6th semester, Students are eligible for campus placements. ONGC GAIL SAIL IOCL etc are companies with an average package of 10 to 12 lakh per annum. Placements are more than 80% ,it mainly depends on the skills you develop. Not as FireMan, as Fire Officer at least.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Soumya Vidyavidhyar is Superfluous!!
