I choose this course due to NEP and the study environment of college. Faculty is of helping nature. For 1st semester it was fast forward exam though you can pass it with hard work as there is internals too which will help you to pass the subject as you don't need to be passed in practical and theory exams separately.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 24565 per year

Internships Opportunities

My college is DBT star college therefore they provide an elite research program every year which is of 2 months duration and 1 thousand rupees as a stipend and a vice chancellor summer internship program which is also of 2 months and a stipend of 10000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of the fee hike policy as I have to pay the same fees for 4 years. There are a large number of scholarships according to the department and overall. Delhi University is famous for lots of opportunities if you can explore there are a lot of opportunities.

Campus Life

Leiothrix is our college's annual fest and my college is not very big in infrastructure as it is built in a school building but it has a better Library infrastructure. Many sports competition is held every year and many societies are there including NSS and Shashakt(women empowerment society).

Admission

I gave CUET exam on the cuet.samarth.ac.in and got the result after that I applied to a different college counseling portal (csas portal of Delhi University) and in the 2nd Spot round I got the seat as I applied only in computer courses. Yeah, I want Delhi University to give proper time to students as students get late admissions also in the spot round for 1st semester.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Placement Experience:

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
