The college is a mixed package where students get to enjoy their college life as well as they earn high grades. is a very comfortable place to spend what is possibly the best years of ones life. The college gives its students a lot of opportunities if they have the initiative to ask for it.

I was able to secure a good rank in KEAM 2014 Kerala engineering entrance examination.its been always a dream to get into such prestigious organization.when I got selected I was offered my favorite course.

The course structure is based on how to apply the context of your lesson in practical world equipment's and learn more from them. The structure pushes you to learn more and stay updated to the latest trends in the world of technology.the whole course is divided into 8 semesters consisting of four months and lab and theory incorporated and are in symphony with each other.

There are different internships offered by the college itself the most attractive one is from Bosch REXROTH center inside the campus.the stipend varies according to duration and context of the internship and they pay well.incubation center and satellite center is great and growth oriented.

This is where the college of engineering Trivandrum really excels. Every year including mine over 60 companies have visited our campus which include giants like amazon,royal Enfield,infosys,Adobe,hyundai,envestnet,musigma,and so on.. offering jobs and internships to final year students.throughout years the percentage of placements is always kept above 80%. Because the rest of students are interested in higher studies only.i myself am offered multiple job offers from different companies. The highest offer is 3.9 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 3.25 lakhs per annum as of 2017.

Every year college of engineering Trivandrum hosts technical fests like dhrishti,yamistha,tharang,pantheon,and further department wise competitions as well. Cultural fests like disha,fabuloso,paripadi, power night and much more are celebrated every year. Dhwani and sargam which are the most awaited and biggest cultural fests in Kerala are organised by students and faculty of this College and all of them are participated by all the colleges in Kerala every year

The fee structure is feasible since it being a government engineering college. the semester fee is almost rs 5000.many relaxations and waiver schemes are available for eligible students.there are no hidden fee or miscellaneous amount needed to pay by the student.

The campus area spread over 120 acres. There's a separate building for each department. While the campus consists of predominantly keralites,people from all over India are here both as students and facilities. The gender ratio from girls against boys is 1:3 in almost all departments. Students from different strata of economy are studying here. No attention to caste gender religion politics is affecting anyone so as too disturb the togetherness and harmony of the campus.

The hostel facility is top notch in college of engineering Trivandrum. Both boys hostel and girls hostel are equipped with gym, centralized WiFi,sports ground,play ground and enough accommodation facilities with an efficiently functional mess.all this at 2000 per month per student.the average pg charges rates upto 5000.which is not often employed by students.waiver scheme are available on the hostel bills as for the deserving students.

The communication and bond existing between alumni and teachers and students help the student to get exposure to the technical industry and to gather helping hands in their projects and ventures. the existing alumni groups have been Keen to offer help in whichever way they could in order to make this campus greater and better in every aspect. Alumni are ready to fund your projects and start-up ideas if you're genuine and worthy.There is an imminent line of alumni's who are very famous who studied in this college like G Madhavan Nair, Shankar etc.

Each semester has 2 series exams and one University exam. One series exam consists of 6 exams one per subject. Normally there will be 8 subjects in a semester 24 exams per semester.labs are there two days every week. But both of them in an optimized manner.enough time to prepare and keep up.

I appeared for the Kerala engineering entrance examination in 2014 and secured a rank under 1000. Also had a good percentage in +2 board exams as well applied for this College through the exams standard procedure,by merit I was allocated the requested courses without any trouble.

College of Engineering Trivandrum has the best faculty in Kerala. The professors are highly qualified and so is the lab in charges. Which makes the curriculum interesting and learning oriented. The faculty also helps students with their projects and guide them through their research.the bond existing between alumni students and faculty is what makes college of engineering Trivandrumto work harmony.
