Likes

Relaxation in attendance but some of the teachers have strict rules of 75℅ attendance.
There is too much peace in the college. Environment is also good.
There is huge opportunity to open extra career opportunities.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not good. Although it is not too bad also.
There is a common ground for cricket and football.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am purchasing information technology from pussgrc. And information technology is the coolest brand in this college (better than CSE in many things). Here faculty are very supportive. Some do have not more knowledge but are very supportive. Many faculty members were done their master's from IIT and NIT. Now come to the term exam Exam are very easy and held on time.

Placement Experience

If we talk about the placements almost 90–100% placement for CSE/IT (conditions apply), and for ECE and mechanical there are low placements. As I already said that there huge opportunity to do your own. As a result, many alumni are placed in big companies like Google, Adobe, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

A fee of one year of general students is about 99,000. But EWS has to pay only 17k per semester. And several types of scholarships are available. But from college, only one scholarship is provided which is a merit-based scholarship.

Campus Life

Greenery is there and Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, and Badminton Court Where we usually spent a lot of time apart from our academics. The library is very big almost all the books which you need are available. There are various clubs in the college like Dcult which is a dance club and Shor which is a drama club.

Hostel Facilities

There are two hostels one for Boys and One for Girls. Rooms are spacious and on twin sharing basis. Rooms are available for all girls but in the case of boys, very few students get the government hostel. But several PGs are available near the college and are affordable too.

Hostel Fee: INR 14000 per year

Admission

Admission is through JAC Chandigarh on the basis of JEE's main results. You will find the application form on the JAC Chandigarh website and the fee for the application form is 2800. Here some seat is reserved for SC, ST, and backward cast student and a sports coat is also available.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Peaceful and green campus of PUSSGRC

Firstly I have applied for Himachal Pradesh Technical Univeristy, Hamirpur, before joining Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. I got CSE there, but left because the placement scenario is not as I expected, as it is a new college and still progressing, while UIET, PUSSGRC has a good placement scenario of 70-80% placements and has a good reputation. Admission to this college is on the basis of JEE Main exam and by appling JAC Chandigarh Counselling. The admission process is simple it is first JEE mains entrance exam then JAC chandigarh counselling for admission registration fee it is about 1200 Rs , and there is no state based reservation in the institution it is all India open and other case based reservation are there according to the government , also reservation to wards of freedom fighter , riot victim , armed forces etc is there. the cutoff starts around 55k to 95k in CSE....Read More
