Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosed computer science and engineering course because of coding environment of this college. Seniors brother from this college suggested me to take admission in this college. All faculties members are highly experienced and qualified from IIT NIT and reputed institute.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 410000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys which are the mass recruiter visit our college and select the students based on their skills. Students learn a lots of experience about how to work in company and what is the actual need after doing internship.

Placement Experience

Students from fifth semester become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. come to college and select the students based on their skills. The highest package salary offered in this college is 42 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course completion from computer science and engineering department or any other department (B.Tech) in this college will cost approx 410000. Scholarships like Kanyashree and Vivekananda swami scholarships are available in this college.

Campus Life

Technical fest and annual fest is held yearly in the month of March, April. About 90000 books and journals are available in the library of this college. Many sports activities like Volleyball, cricket , football etc. are held regularly. Social groups like coding club, science club etc. are also present there.

Admission in Heritage Institute of technology Kolkata is taken through West Bengal joint entrance exam WBJEE counselling or Joint entrance exam JEE. Rank in wbjee should be below 3200 to get admission in computer Science and Engineering department in this college.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
