Course Curriculum Overview

I am passionate about research and B.Sc give me a great learning opportunity, Approximately 1 teacher to 10-12 students is the faculty: student ratio, The faculty of B.Sc has many Ph.D. teachers with years of experience.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 4385 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

To Study B.Sc (Aided) which must cost around 20-25k including all three years if it's a government-funded college, College has many scholarship programs which are part of central and state government schemes.

Campus Life

Goonj is the Annual fest of the College which is around Dec, Chemistry dept has Fluorescence, Zoology dept has Zoonation around Feb, For a library, you must have a valid library and have an account on libraries website to issue books.

Admission

Starting from AY 2023-24 entrance exam is compulsory for B.Sc and it's a 4 Year program, for application forms you need to fill out the form on the Mumbai University Website and your desired college form on the website of the college under the admission section.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

from 6th semester students are eligible for placement. multiple MNCs come for placements like deloitte, berger, reliance, ernst and young, etc. highest packasge is around 9 lakhs pa and median package is about 3.5 lakhs pa. maximum students who sit for placement gets placed. i will be pursuing masters degree after my bachleors.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
