Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I like computer science. Faculty to student ratio in this college is not that bad, but even if it is a govt college all the faculty members aren't that good. But if you're a committed student you get good opportunities and chances to improve your career opportunities. There are 8 semesters and there are end sem exams for each sem. Exams aren't that hard for you to study sometimes. Backpapers can be cleared in each odd and even sem.
Internships Opportunities
There are enough opportunities. SIP and other things are there to support your ideas and projects. But it all depends on how individually skilled and motivated you are. You have to search for the chances.
Placement Experience
About less than 50 per cent of students get campus placement from all courses. But cse has a much higher rate. About more than 70%. Campus placement here depends on how good your resume is and how skilled you are in various fields.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure depends on your family's annual income. There are scholarships too, which enable you to have less fees. There is E Grantz. A profound scholarship most students get. No need to write exams. If you have a low family income you would get it. There are also other scholarships if you browse the net you could get it.
Campus Life
College life depends on how you use the chances and opportunities. There aren't many clubs here. And the college isn't located near any city. So the unavailability of city facilities is a negative point. There is IEEE, SAE, NCC, and TinkerHub.
Hostel Facilities
The men's hostel has about 200 occupancies and the ladies' hostel has more than that. Both are very clean and food is also adequate. The hostel fees are also very less. It depends on how many days worth of food you eat. It varies from 2000-3000.
Admission
Minimum eligibility is 12th passed with PCM course. The entrance exam is through KEAM. Your final ranking of KEAM exam depends on the written exam marks of the entrance test and the PCM marks of 12th class. Cutoff rank for each College depends on your KEAM rank and your caste. Admission process is done through this website cee.kerala.gov.in .
