Ameer's Review On MEA Engineering College- [MEAEC], Malappuram

Our college has good atmosphere in all feature. They gives pleasant energy to study. But placement of or college is less and no appropriate internship is provided. It has provided me with the necessary tools to enhance my skills more, taught me valuable knowledge about this diverse world and people and concepts in general and eventually will enable me to hopefully become more successful in life when I finally graduate and get my degree. It also has stressed to me the importance of thinking critically and asking questions in many situations. All these aspects of college have also made me more well-rounded as a person.

After 12th grade,gone for entrance coaching and attended entrance exam KEAM(Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical). Qualifying exam got an interview in MEA Engineering College. They inspire me the success of life through interview so I joined there. I preferd Electronic and Communication Engineering.

Our course was based on Calicut University. ECE is one of the most important trade of engineering.the equipment used in many fields are just because of electronics engineer.Communication is very important aspect or service demanding in the world today.So i thought that there are more new challenging experience in ECE stream. That's why i adopted it.

Internship opportunities have been provided for PG students by various companies. Nowadays, our College also providing internship to the UG students visiting different companies from week to year.

The College has a well structured Training and Placement Cell to impart pre placement training for students to sharpen their soft skill as well as knowledge. Training & Placement Cell strives to enhance student's placement on the job market and also offers a wide range of services for the students. Job opportunities are multiplying rapidly and at the same time market is getting acutely competitive. Training sessions are being done on Presentation & Communication Skills, Quantitative & Technical aptitude and Reasoning. Companies/Organizations visit our campus every year in search of superior and talented students. The concept of Career Guidance & Placement has become integral part of the present day ethos and is reflected in the expansion of its domain to auxiliary functions like Pre employment Training, Institute-Industry Linkage, Updating Knowledge etc. The cell facilitates the dissemination of information about employment/higher education opportunities. Placement talks and campus interviews are also arranged for the students.

Every year we conduct Tech fests.One of the biggest Tech fest conducted in our college was "MECHANIUM'13",'MECHANIUM'14".Also some campus level Tech fests are conducted on the behalf of IEEE and IEDS. AVENSIS 2K17 is an IEEE Malabar Hub WIE congress.All the engineer's are social committers on the behalf our college proudly conducted community marriage last two years named as "MEHAR".We have a strong NSS Technical Cell 110 in our campus,who work along with Kerala government and placed on Top 10 .One of the great work done by our NSS unit is 'PUNARJJANI'.Last year we conducted a sports meet TRIBUTE TO INDIAN ARMY got a great reach in social media. Also we have strong College Union including students and faculties which make our college more courage and strong.Initiated for a social campaign BDM ( Blood Donors Unit of MEA ). I realised the importance of wonders that team work would achieve our programmes to a great success.

The students or scholars are required to pay as noted against their fees category as per schedules. According to different quotes fees may varies from 50k-2lakhs. I got management quota so my fees about 1 lakhs.

College helps to gain all available scholarship for students and remind students about scholarship and helps in completing the procedures.MOMA Scholarship for minority,MUslim Girl Scholarship,Central sector scholarship are the common scholarship available for students.

Many workshops and outside programmes are conducted to encourage the students. Sometime college posses competition regarding on technology.

I am a day scholar. Mostly I expend most of the time in hostel. Hostel life is one of the of the best experiences one can have. I feel everyone should go through the ups and downs of hostel life at least once in his/her life.

Alumni Associations are successfully organized in last few years which brings all the graduates under a roof.

Exams are necessary for students, because without exams, students would not be as motivated to learn the material. There would also not be a way for institutions for higher education, or potential employers, to tell which students were willing to work that hardest. Exams motivate students to learn, knowing they will be evaluated.

They are not faculties, they are second mother of my life. They played an important role in my life.Lectures are encourage a lot of about my career. They are very helpful to me, we are asking any doubt they are clarify that doubt. I treat them as a part of my life which helps in all situation. I found them as a star.
