Course Curriculum Overview

The course has good scope. The faculty is qualified with master's and PhD holders. Their teaching methods are very good and innovative. The term exams are every six months and it wasn't really difficult if you studied and attended lectures and practicals.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee for this course is 30,000 pa which isn't really costly compared to other colleges. Scholarships are available along with financial assistance from the college. Campus placements are available too with good stipends

Campus Life

Every department has its own fest which is conducted starting from the month of January. A library with all kinds of books and journals is available and accessible to all the students. Sports day is held wherein students participate and compete on the basis of their houses. There are various groups and clubs like the book club.

Admission

Passing 12th grade with more than 60% makes you eligible for the course. The application form is available on the website of the college. No improvement is required in the admission process as the faculty and staff help you with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
