Admissions to iiit Pune will ba carried by JOSAA.this means one need to appear for jee mains , on the basis of jee merit list seat allocation will be done.

The course is designed in the semester pattern. Each semester has 30,70 marks pattern. 30 marks written exam is concluded in the college and also checked by the college,70 marks exams are checked by the university professors. Each semester has 5 subjects. 2 practicals.

No college never provides internship. All the students has to manage their internship on their own ways. Internship plays an important to get placed here. Marks are stuff to get here unless you are the favourite student of your class teacher.

The placement for our batch was quite well. 60percent of the students got placed, 5lpa being the highest package and 2lpa being the lowest package. Companies like Infosys, Geometric, Persistent, Teradata, IBM,C ause code visited. Students were offered the role of developer

Dhruva Techno Cultural Fest is been conducted for nearly 5-6 days which include some special days like theme day,traditional day, games,DJ night,mismatch day. Cultural event's main focus is on Codename Hallucination Sports events are also conducted simultaneously called Askra which specially gives importance to football with bigger prize money. Its budget is very low under 70-80 thousand budget. The participation for these above special events has huge participation level.

Every year tuition and development fees are decided by Shikshan Shulka Samiti (SSS) of Govt of Maharashtra. All the students admitted to the Institute needs to pay the fees as per SSS decision. For first year: 83,689 for second year:84.202 for third year 76,642 for final year 71,242(in rupees).

There are no student socities we only have an IEEE committee All festivals are celebrated here but not so happily college everytime creates problem for one or the other thing .

Student residences are available on the Institute campus. Majority of the rooms have balconies that provide a good view of the surrounding area and a place for relaxation and interaction. Separate student residences for accommodating girls and boys viz. Mithila and Nalanda. The Institute maintains a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene on campus as well as in the student residences in addition to provision for all applicable student facilities. Generator back-up is available incase the power supply is disrupted. A medical centre duly manned (24X7) is also available to take care of any medical emergencies. The hostel administration office is located on the ground floor of the student residence.

Senior students once get stepped out of the college never come back. Students in this college are like a marriage couple. They are dying to run away but they can't.

30-70 pattern is followed. So 30 marks exam is scheduled in the month of july-august and 70 marks exams are scheduled in the months of oct-nov. The exam patter is as simple as its always been from the pune university. And as usual the checking is tough.

The faculty is very helpful and ready to solve your problem.The teaching quality is above average and they use power point presentations for teaching. The student to faculty ratio is about 60:1. The training and placement cell helps to give you a good exposure to the industry with lots of seminars and guest lectures. The course curriculum was useful.
