Course Curriculum Overview

I choose civil engineering bcoz now a days community needs more civil engineers to full filling their dreams. Faculty: passionate, caring, dedicated. The Student ratio is 50:60. MTech, post-graduate, or Ph.D. need for faculty. Every 6 months. Easily pass.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 59500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly around 60000 rupees need for studying B.Tech civil. I think no scholarship from now onwards, may it be the coming year its work. But the federal bank on the college campuses helps to take financial support and they give financial assistance. Every year have campus placement.

Campus Life

Every year campus conducts an annual celebration with famous celebrities and their music fusion, open-air programs, etc. A big library contains a number of encyclopedias, it really helps. Amenities in the classroom are well executed, reading corner, projector, visual graphics, wall hangings, etc.

Admission

AICTE-approved, University affiliation, an anti-ragging policy, and Online fee payment facilities, They also have an academic audit, which really helps each student, a Good atmosphere, and well-educated teachers. No need foe improvement in the admission process.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
