Spectacular life

All the goods and bad about my college.

I took Kerala entrance examination. I Scored 24000 rank, Only got IT in this college due to rank i got. Wonderful right. Now I think i was lucky that i got this rank and got into this college.

The syllabus was good except 1st year, In first year we studied basic mechanical engineering, Basic communication and engineering and several other. I still think why i studied all these subjects. It is of no use to my current career. In second year i studied basic programming languages like C, Cpp, Data structure etc.

No. My college does provide internship. Only full time B.tech and M.tech is provided by my college.

Several companies come to my college for campus recruitment. For example Tata Consultancy services, IBS, Suntech and many others. Almost 60- 70 percents of the passed students get into these companies. Other off campus recruitments are also conducted by other companies.

In my college the following events are conducted every year. Arts and sports day, college day, Technical fest, Cultural fest, Associations of each and every department, Workshops, Clubs and chapters etc. All these are very much interesting and fun filled.

In my college both merit and management seats are there. For merit seats fees are decided by the government. Its affordable. But for management the fees are decided by the management itself. Its a little bit on the expensive side. Its better to get merit seat than management seat.

No, Any good scholarship or loan facility are not offered by my college that i know of or availed. I dont know whether they have adopted these now.

Mess is an integral part of hostel and mess services are compulsory for all resident students. The hostel has a well-spaced mess with a proper dining area with all facilities like seating arrangement, drinking water etc. The mess services are outsourced a

First of all let me tell one thing. There is no such thing as ragging in our college. The principal is a lady whose is very strict in these kind of things. All the seniors are very friendly.
