The course curriculum caters to the industry and is modified regularly, accordingly. The faculty is really supportive and amazing to learn with. The faculties make the classroom session really interactive.

The college provides really great summer Internship placement opportunities. Some of the companies hosted for the internship projects do offer PPO and PPI to the interns. Roles are offered in almost all areas.

Placement Experience

The placements for a really crucial part of XIM Bhubaneswar. The campus hosts a lot of reputed companies. The average package is around 20 lakhs. There are 100 per cent placements on campus. The companies from all the fields are hosted on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is split into two for the first and second years and follows a simple structure. Financial assistance is easily available from banks. The XIM campus hosts really good companies, thus providing ample placement opportunities.

Campus Life

Life on campus is really vibrant. It involves a lot of learning. There are a lot of committees and clubs as per interests that host a number of fests, conclaves, and leadership talks. The sports facilities available are amazing.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are neat and clean and well furnished. All the facilities like laundry, room cleaning, wifi are available. Mess food is good. The rooms are allocated on the arrival of the students and are quite economical. It is mandatory to stay on campus in hostels.

Admission

I am Stuti Goel from Xavier Institute of management bhubaneswar. I appeared for XAT and got into college. There was a PI round for the final selection. The cut-off was around 90 percentile, around 55 percentile for each section. The entire admission process was very smooth and systematic.

Interview Experience

I appeared for XAT exam. I scored around 93 percentile. I cleared the cutoff which was around 90 percentile along with section cut off which was around 55 percentile. Then I appeared for the final PI round.

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

IMI offers 100% placements. Companies like SBI life , Kodak, Taj Hotels , Infosys come. In the first year we are given plenty of placement preparation training. We have a committee particularly dedicated towards it. Be it quant, reasoning, gd all are being taken care of.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

Entrance Preview:

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.

I had applied to IIM's , XLRI Jamshedpur, IMT Gazhiabad. I had been selected for IMT Gazhiabad dual country program (PGDM-DCP). I had given PI for several IIM's, got selected for IIM Sambalpur and IIM Bodhgaya also but did not go there. And the colleges I could not convert are because of the questions related to my undergraduation. I had answered all the questions related to my work experience that they had asked. Overally I had performed not upto the mark, so did not get selected. Admission process in our college is through CAT, XAT and XGMT exam. Generally cut offs for this college goes around 92 percentile for non domicile and 91 percentile for domicile students. I had scored 95.80 percentile in CAT 2023. A short summary about XIMB

I opt for this college because it's one of the top five best college in east india it's reputed government registrar and trust worthy. the placement and infrastructure is also very good. I didn't apply for many colleges I just applied for St Xavier's College Ranchi I gave the written and interview and was cleared in both the exams but because of its infrastructure and no placement I didn't went there. Admission to XIMB can be secured in 3 ways: CAT, XAT, and XGMT. The exams are held from November to January time frame and the admission forms open from around October goes on till January.
