ISDM: Empowering future leaders for positive social change.

Anyone can apply who has a bachelor's degree. Social media is very active in the admission process. Just google ISDM admissions and you will find the ISDM's page there. You can find it easily with just one search. I think ISDM's admission process is excellent, no need to improve, just retain it.

The faculties are just awesome. They have great expertise in their area and they possess a high ranking in the social sector. Faculties are very approachable and come up with diverse perspectives. Students come from overall India so they are very diverse in their experience, knowledge, and geography, But, all faculties and students have the acceptable factor in them so it becomes to work them together.

We have 14 days rural immersion program, where we go to the remotest areas of India and explore with the local organization. So, my group went to Kotri village of Ajmer District, where we collaborated with Manthan Sanstha and explore the ground realities of India. After that, we design an intervention based on our experiences. Did a system's design, and find out the root causes with the help of a beautiful tool called problem tree, which we made in a pallet application. It's a good experience for us, a lot of learning we got from the field.

After 5 terms students are eligible to get placement. No. of best social organizations come for recruitment, like Save the Child, Plan India, Educate Girl, Swades Foundation, LAHI, Swakarma, Villgro, Antarang, and many more. 100% of students got placed every year. I am having plan to take the experience from the groundwork because I am a fresher, So, I want to explore this sector. When I will have enough experience and suitable knowledge, I will go for my own social entrepreneurship.

ISDM's fees are 5 lahks in total, but, they also provide scholarships to needy people upto 3lakh, and offer a deferred payment of the remaining amount which students have to give back after placement through EMI's, a noninterest loan. And if any student is not able to afford it but he is a suitable candidate for the course then ISDM provides them a living grant.

Life at ISDM is awesome life, you can also find it on the Instagram page of ISDM named- life@isdm. There is a huge library on the third floor which contains a lot of beautiful and resourceful books. There are clubs in the ISDM formed by ISDM students themselves, book club, public speaking club, theatre club, Social Entrepreneurship club and etc.
