Every faculty has there own unique teaching method. All of them truly wanted their students to pass in all subjects. Also, the were friendly and helpful in extracurricular activities. Most of the faculty has PhD level qualifications so students will get more benefits

Actually, there is no internship activity in the college. But on the behalf of college, you can do internship activities in many government companies like KMML, and Aluminium Industries. You will get an experience certificate from there

Even after completing the 6th semester students can attend placement drives. Our college is well known for placement so big companies are always there to provide jobs. An average of 20 students get placement from each drive

Fees and Financial Aid

The normal fee of the college is about 75000 per year. But for those who are economically weak, the fee is 50000. They frequently conduct placement drives to support students. Popular companies will always be there to select talented students

The college conducts different programs like tech fest, art day, sports day and many more to encourage students in their extracurricular activities. The college has a big library packed with all kind study materials to help and support the students

Admission

I have passed the Kerala engineering entrance exam and joined Btech (ME) course in this college. Eligibility of joining is based on the rank you get in the entrance exam. There is also fee reduction for those students who get higher ranks. For others the fee will be common. Those who didn't pass the exam can also join here but the course fee will be huge. You will need to come to college office to know about the admission procedures. The staffs are truly helpful

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
