Remarks
Overall experience was just fine. I expected a muvh better one though. Really hope the highly talented and qualified teachers be a little more active. Shifting from private school to a government college makes it difficult to feel comfortable. But got used to it with time. Even though the infrastructure wasn't quite fancy, the teachers and their teachings were. Found a good group of friends which stuff a lot easier. Not many fests and events were organized in our college, but the few that were there were a lot of fun. Now that it's over, I shall miss it, but not as much as my school.
Entrance Preview
Just got admission on the basis of my 12th grade marks. There was no interview process. I did the course because I have immense interest in the subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was fine. Focus on practical learning was great in the beginning, but faded with time. No specific research initiatives were taken.
Placement Experience
No placements happened for my course. They happened earlier maybe, but not this year.
College Events
All departments had their own fests. Be it Bsc, BMS, Bcom, BA, etc. They were fun, at the same time sort of messy, because they all happened together. The college had immense contribution in all of them. The teaching and non teaching staff helped us a lot.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees were quite affordable. 5800 for 1st year 4800 for 2nd 3800 for 3rd
Campus Life
There many extracurricular activities that happened. Could not really be a part of many of them. But they brought talents of many people. Including a friend of mine who did wonders after participating in a music contest organized by the college. The facilities were good, but could have been better. Also they failed to keep the students updates with all these activities.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel rooms. Canteen had good food but not much variety.
Alumni/Alumna
Not much interaction happened with the alumni. I don't think the college provided much of a proper platform to them.
Faculty
Faculty was highly qualified. Almost all professors were topers of their respective shools/colleges. All of them had done their Phds. They very interactive and helped us a lot. But their standards of teachings sort of faded from year to year. The non teaching staff were the real hero's though. They helped us a lot, in every way possible. Treated us like we were their own kids.
