My beautiful college

College is all an average. The staff is good but labs are not. The campus is awesome but the area in surrounding in bit boring as it is away from the city so no chaos , the surrounding area closes at 10pm sharp, so if you are hungry or else you have to travel to another place or wait for next morning.

I gave JEE Mains examination and i scored 40 which was above cutoff. I chose this college because i had heard its name from most of my seniors and also visited the campus which is scenic beauty in itself.

The course I'm admissioned is B.E. Civil. It is the core and as said evergreen branch amongst all the engineering branches. It itself is very vast field according to research basis. The course syllabus from university is bit messy and hard to cover along with other curriculum works like assignments, sheets, site visits etc. But you could take advice from seniors and even teachers to tacle the situation.

College doesn't directly provide any internship but has collaborated with many institution and organisations which helps and encourage students to get internship. Like online portal internship.com portal they have all students database and students can themselves find internship. For Civil there's a builder's association of India which provides internship for civil students of a month at stipend of minimum ₹2000/-

For job and placement facilities there is a special training and placement cell in college, which helps students in finding job opportunities. For civil there are very few countable numbers of companies which come for campus recruitment. Civil students are also alloed to seat and seek jobs in IT companies as per there criteria.

There are various events celebrated in our college. In month of December there's firstly college level sports events it includes various sports and team are based on branches. Then there's Satej Karandak it is inter pune sports event any one can take pat in it. Then in February there are technical events it includes various types of activities generally 4 events from each branch. Civil has bridge making competition, survey hunt, bob the builder and buoyancy events. Than there is cultural fest of College"Cronoz" in this students perform various art forms like, singing, musical instrument playing, solo and group dances. All the above events are well organised and students take participation in much quantity and full enthusiasm.

The fee structure of College is a bit high. For B.E. it charged ₹1,00,000/- per annum. As per the facilities provided by the College its bit high at some extent. The fees also varies as per the government schemes for different caste types different fee structure.

Campus life is very better here. As the campus is made worth the gardens including fountains, flowers, small deck bridges of bamboos perfect location for a photo shootout. It also includes square gardens where students usually sit for hours. The labs are bit of concern, half of the machines or devices are not working at all so you may have to copy readings and skip the practical. It is in almost every department.there are various clubs in campus which you can join including Vihang - art circle, Rotract club, Phoenix, Quest.

The boys hostel of the College itself is not within College premises, it is nearly 1.5 km away from the College. It has less intake capacity but has high fare rate that is ₹100,000 per annum including breakfast and dinner. But its also bit high, Instead students prefer to stay in private hostels which are available on cot basis, they cost around 2000-4000/- per month. Or even few students combinely rent out a flat in nearby surrounding.

The alumni network is bit poor or can say not in that touch with college again.

The exam structure is as per University norms. The syllabus is divided amongst 6 units and for final year i.e. 4th year of B.E. after a month and half of academic semester beginning theres a test called insem of 30 marks based of 3 units. And then after 2 months there are vivas, practical of 50 marks. And at last there's endsem of 70 marks based on whole syllabus.

As per university norms composite score of jee mains and 12th boards exams are considered for the admission procedure of engineering colleges. There are different cutoffs for different castes. The JEE scores requires to be positive and the marks obtained in 12 th boards in pcm should averagely be more than 50%.

Faculty of the college is pretty good. Mixed batch of strict to friendly behaviour teachers. They will surely help you against yours doubts and will sort of try to explain by most of thete study. They always encourage you to take parts in different competitive exams regarding academics or others. But they are strict with the attendance criteria of university that is 75%.
