- The Faculty here is very supportive and are very talented in thier respective topics
- The campus is very beautiful, the buildings are magnificient and are surrounded by multiple gardens and fields.
- GITA does not support ragging and take strict action in this case. so the students feel safe in the college enviornment.
Dislikes
- The Labs are not so well maintanined. some systems are too old and not working properly. and the AC systems in labs are also very poor , most of the ACs dont work.
- The Bus for transportation of day scholar students are very bad. There aren't enough seats for all the students due to which some students have to stand in the bus while travelling.
- The classrooms are not Air conditioned , so during summer season its very difficult to attend classes due to the heat.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college curriculum is very dynamic and offers its students to participate in and explore various fields. The reason I choose Btech at GITA is because of my genuine passion for the subject matter and at GITA the curriculum strikes a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The faculty members at GITA are passionate educators and very committed to their work. Besides being good educators the teachers here are good mentors to the students guiding them through their academic pursuits, career choices, and personal development.
Placement Experience
The college placements start from 3rd year for the students. The companies that visited our campus last year were Urjanet, Hexaware, argusoft, digit, TCS, Capgemini, cozentus, and Devtron and around 85 % of students got placed. The Highest package offered was around 9LPA. Proper training is provided by the college to students before facing the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
For my batch (2020-24) the current fee is 108000 per year and they take an additional 15000 for transport like bus fees, for the semester exam the fee is 2500 per semester. And I think 108000 is very reasonable for a B.tech course as compared to other colleges offering similar courses. aAnd in addition, our college provides various scholarships for the students like Medhabruti Scholarship, Sitaram Jindal Scholarship, AICTE Pragati scholarship for girls, etc.
Campus Life
The campus life at GITA is very dynamic, offering a well-rounded experience for students. Our college got 3 active clubs and they are the Language Club, Drama Club, and the Sports Club. There are other clubs but they are dormant, like no such activity is going on there. Our college conducts the Annual Tech Fest and Function every year and it's called "Akankshya", its conducted in February or March. Our college has a huge Central Library that allows students to issue books and the Library also provides a calm environment for the students to study there.
Admission
The admission process was very simple and hassle-free. I found Information about the college from the Collegedunia website and then after going through the details I contacted the college, after talking to one of their faculty I visited the college the next day for exploring the college and for admission, During my visit, I had the opportunity to meet with the college's admission counselor. And to complete the admission process, I was required to submit certain documents like 10th and 12th mark sheets, Jee rank card, residence certificate, etc. and after that my admission was successful.
