Nice campus life

I chose the course Automobile engineering due to my intent in automobiles from a very small age.SCT is the best college that offers automobile engineering in Kerala. The faculties in the college are very cooperative and friendly. They are always available for any sort of help we need. All the professors are qualified well and many of them are doctorate holders and the teaching method of everyone is unique. Some of the methods are good and some are not much great. the terms exams are many at a time and the difficulty of passing the exam was moderate.

The college will approach many companies and then they will provide us with internships with a stipend and finally, they will recruit the students with the best performance. The selection criteria will be the final project they are submitting after the internship.

The training for campus placement starts in the sixth semester and the placement drive starts in the seventh semester. Almost all the interested students will attend the placement and a large number of students will get placed too. Lots of companies will come and a few of them are Cognizant, tata elxsi, Infosys, Mahindra, etc. An average salary package of 8 lakhs per annum is offered in the placement drive. almost 80-90% of students will be placed in the campus placement. My plan after getting the degree Is to join a company or go for bigger studies.

Being a government-aided college the merit seat fee is 35000 per year. The management seat fee is 75000 per year and for the NRI Seat, it is 150000 per year. There are reservations and many scholarships for financially backward children. The college will also provide internships which will add to campus placements and has a good placement history.

College life at SCT is something that will remain very long even after we are passed out. The college organizes different types of cultural and technical fest. The technical fest is name Advent and the annual fest is named cult a way which is one of the major fests of Trivandrum city. They are mainly conducted in the month of May and June. The Library of the college is filled with lots of books and journals for helping the students. The Library is available during class hours and we can refer to books without any limit. The classroom has basic amenities like a projector with a screen and everything needed for a classroom. the sports and extracurricular activities are taking place in the college and it will be department-wise. There are many clubs in college which are run by students. The music club, dance club, etc.

The admission process in the college is very transparent and stress-free. I got admission to this college through the Keam entrance examination with a rank of 16k. The cut-off of various courses is different and depends upon the number of students who had attended the examination.
