Remarks

The campus was good. There was no political parties going on active there. And the college took good steps for irradiation of the ragging itself.

I wrote the keam entrance exam and got a rank 9054. After a research i found this college and my choice was not wrong.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical engineering was the course which I've chosen. It had 4 elactives including one global elective.

Internships Opportunities

No, they where busy to enroll only the best students in placements so that the college will get a good prospectus. So we were avoided as such.

Placement Experience

The placements were not good. I think they need to improve there placement cell and come up with more number of placements. Most of us even didn't get any chance for nearly participating in these placements.

College Events

Events and the functions organized was fantastic. And it was extra ordinary. Never had that much fun.

The fee was somewhat high , as i had to pay a total of around 4 lakhs for my studies .

Yes , but sadly i was expelled from any type of scholarships as well. My bad

I was at the hostel through out my studies. Room was single. And have mostly clean and well maintained. About food it was really good.

Exam Structure

It was a pleasant culture . Exams was there frequently but even though there was time for extra carricular activities as well.

Faculty

It was nice. As the teachers where good and mostly helping . They doesn't put you down and will be there when you need them .

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I did a blunder as I did wanted to write IMU CET exam but due to a mistake I did forgot to inform the keam management regarding this and both exam coninsided in one day at different places one in Kerala and other in Bangalore.
