Course Curriculum Overview
In got admission in computer science and engineering in Assam University because fees of Assam University is not much expansive as compared to private universities and also the facilities of Assam University is very good. In my batch there are 75 students and every students much talented. There are three engineering branch in our university. They are CSE, ECE and agricultural faculty of Assam University is very good. He teaches like our children. The faculty and students ratio is 1ratio 10. Every teachers have done PhD in our field and teachers are teach very nicely. Course is for 4 years and I semester. Every subject is 100 marks . Two exam is conduct for each semester one is internal which is 30 marks and second is end term exam.
Placement Experience
After the 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies are visited our university. They are private banks, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. The highest package for our university is 1600000 and the average package is 400000. Minimum of 80 percentage students get placement. After four years I will give a gate exam for admission to MTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
You know our course is for 4 years. Each year there are two semesters. Every year you will give Rs55000 for admission fees. In 4 years you will give approximately Rs250000 for tuition fees and exam fees. You are also eligible for various government or private scholarships. In our university also placement cell is here. University also provides in-campus placement.
Campus Life
The campus is full of greeneries. Our campus is sitting in a hilly area. Every year our university organised an annual fest and tech fest. The name of our annual fest is AUSKIRIT. Ne of the tech fest is Antrash. Also, our university provides sports facilities. One football field and one volleyball field and also one cricket field are under construction. Many clubs are organized by students like IT CLUB, DRAMA CLUB, WEB DEVELOPMENT CLUB, etc.
Admission
I got admission to Assam University Silchar through Jee mains entrance exam. Every year NTA released a notification for Jee mains exam. Eligibility criteria for jee mains exam is passed in 10+2 with a minimum of 75 percent in Physics, chemistry, and mathematics. After the exam, you get admission to Assam University Silchar through jossa or csab counseling. Also reservation for SC/ST/OBC students.
