Course Curriculum Overview

I'm completely knowing the subject details from my senior batch and also I have some knowledge about the course that's why I am choosing the computer science and technology. And faculty: students ratio is good enough in my college. Teaching methods are really amazing in my college, teacher are helpful and supportive. Exams terms 6 months gap, and if you study well and follow the classes you can easily passed

Internships Opportunities

College faculty give some projects like building an app and finding the bleachers and bugs in the app and also the class coordinator helps a lot. I am glad to attend so many projects it's boosted my knowledge and also the working experience

Fees and Financial Aid

My addmission fees is to low because of the West Bengal board and lateral entry for me my admission fees are 210 rupees, and I am not applying for college campus jobs, I prefer to get another job outside the campus

Campus Life

They are available books and journals in the college library. There are lots of sports and extra curricular activities on campus like basketball music band etc. There are some WhatsApp groups for the students

Admission

Yes, I have to attend the entrance exam for the college seat. The exam name is WBJEE. I'm ranked in WBJEE in the general cut-off, and then the addmission processes start at my college. It was not really easy in the general cut-off. For St, Se, Obc can easily rank in WBJEE,

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
