- Campus is really big and beautiful. You will feel like you are really living in your college life. It has 40 acer big campus.
- Tech fest and college fest are well celebrated here and you will feel like you are in Nit or iit in fest season. Last year ansnir grover came to the tech fest.
- Semester exam questions are not that hard for 1st year. You will get enough time to study and improve in coding also in shor time college arrenge for coding event.
Dislikes
- Hostel food is not that good in college specially in Balaji hostel. It test like you are eating no masala. Food don't test good but really healthy also.
- Most people are only from Bihar, jharkhand, west bengal only. No diversity in here but suitable for people live on Bihar, jharkhand or west bengal
Course Curriculum Overview
In 1st year syllabus of every branch is same. In 1st year syllabus is all about class 12th. Faculty are supportive if you are really serious about your studies. Faculty members gives tons of assignments but those assignments are super helpful because in semester exam many questions are same as given in the assignment. So if you only will solve the assignment you will get 6+ cgpa. And by putting little afford you can easily score 8+ cgpa by studying only for one month before exam.
Internships Opportunities
I am in 1st year but I am sure in 2nd year i will get a internship. See if you get some skill then college really give you respect and opportunity to grab good intership. There are some tips in 1st and 2nd semester study coding for 4 month enjoy for 1 month and study college academic for 1 month.
Placement Experience
Placement are like average here. Like any 2nd tier college average CTC is 5.75 lakh this year (2023). Internship start form 2nd year if you are good in coding. And placement start from 3rd and 4th year. Company like TCS and Wipro employee most of the students. The highest package on campus is 16 lakh and off campus is 40 lakh
Fees and Financial Aid
I am in 2022-26 batch. On my time fee was 4.30L . Now every year there is a little increment in fee so every year fee increase by 5-6k . If you are from West Bengal there are tons of scholarship for you. If your family income is less than 8 lakh per year and you are from West Bengal then there are so many scholarship you can grab.
Campus Life
See campus is one of the most popular thing about this college. This college has one of the best campus in west Bengal if you compare with other private college, campus is really beautiful here you will get the felling that you are really came to a college. One thing I don't like is in 1st year you have to be in proper dress provided by college.
Hostel Facilities
There are three hostel for 1st year students. 1. Balaji hostel - a 6 story hostel 14 rooms in every floor and each room have 4 students space. Rooms are not bad and this hostel is really close to college l. 2. Ranichok hostel - this hotel got really peaceful environment and there are only three students in every room and mess food is also ok here. 3. Abinandan hostel - student who don't get any hostel came this hostel. This hostel is ok. And close to college
Admission
There are three ways to take admission 8n this college. 1. Wbjee- rank less than 25k get ece. Rank less than 15k gets it and CSE specialist branch, rank less than 5k get CSE main. Rank above 60k only gets ME, EE , CE and other branches.
Interview Experience
If you already gave entrance exams like wbjee and you came through exam counselling then there are no further exam, interview or anything like that happens. You just simply come to college give the counseling certificate and you will get the admission after paying admission and 1st semester fee. After you took admission there will be 15-20 days gap, then you will get a call from your class mentor and he will also send your class details through mail.
