Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very good since the first year is the foundation year and the next 2-3 according to your preference is related to your major. Faculty is from good backgrounds and good colleges with most done with their post-graduation.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Various companies offer internships with a stipend of an average of 3,000-8,000 thousand for 2 months. We are also required to do an NGO-related internship in the first year. In the second year we have to do another project.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are really good after undergraduate as well as postgraduate like MBA. The lowest package offered after MBA is 9,00,000 Lakh and the highest is 20,00,000 Lakh. My plan is to work first then go for postgraduate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are slightly on the expensive side but that's due to all the facilities and academics that they offer. Housing, food, and transport are all available on the campus itself which is why the fees are very justified. Opportunity for the scholarship is provided since I am on it as well.

Campus Life

5

Life in flame university is I suppose one of the best college life experiences in India. The campus provides immense facilities like a swimming pool, sports, gym, and multiple clubs. Basically, you feel at home there since Pune is the best city for students and people, the food, academics, and opportunities are perfect.

Hostel Facilities

5

My accommodation is like a hotel room. You don't get an option to stay out of campus since they provide us with accommodation. Its an all vegetarian college since its Jain but still the food is still amazing.

Admission

Eligibility of the course was the basics, just to pass your 12th grade and also have Economics in your high school since my degree is in Data Science and Economics. Application forms, application fees, and dates are all on their website, their college website. It's easily accessible. I did not avail any benefits since FLAME University doesn't offer any. Though, it offers scholarships according to your achievements whether it's academics, sports, or extracurriculars. I am studying at Flame University on scholarship. I was pretty impressed with the admission process.

Interview Experience

5

There was an entrance exam and a Personal interview. Both were very well conducted. The process for admission was really smooth without any complications. Criteria are basics like you passing school and as well as having the background subject for you major.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Economics)

I didn't opt for DU since the course that I wanted, Data Science and Economics is only offered in a few colleges. Data science is the future of India especially. Another reason I feel I chose a university not in my State is so that I become more independ

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
