Remarks
College has a good infrastructure. It supports students to participate in technical competition like supra, Baja, RoboCon etc. The only bad thing is that college has a small playground. Else everything about the college is good.
Entrance Preview
I appeared for the JEE exam. For admissions at our time the composite score of the JEE and the board exam was calculated and the college was allotted accordingly. There were no interviews. I had decided to choose mechanical engineering since I was in 7th standard because of my interest in machines.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is considered the best course in our college. It is having all the necessary equipments for practicals. The college has virtual labs also. A research in the stresses on the chassis of bus is been carried in the college and there are a few more researches going on.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provided internships for interested students. Students worked hard and gains practical knowledge. They got to work in the company. They learned company ethics, discipline and many things. Some were given stipend while some companies didn't. The average stipend was 2500 re.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good. Percentage of students placed is good. The major companies visited were Tech Mahindra, ThyssenKrupp, Amazon, Eleation, Universal. The average package was about 3.25 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Well the fees of the college was comparatively low. As I belong to an obvious caste I paid 38738 as tuition fees and 7748 as development fee.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have stayed in hostel. It is a wonderful place. There were 4 students in one room. The rooms are good with fresh coloured walls. Each student is given a table, chair, shelve, bed with blanket and pillow, cupboard. We paid 60000 for a year. I have tasted food at various hostel but the food in our hostel is much better. Even we have breakfast twice a day.
Exam Structure
We have exams every Monday on one subject so that we know our weak areas. There is a unit test before exams for preparing for final University exams. The practicals are for 2 hours once a week for each subject. So we get ample time to study and it doesn't make students feel tired.
Faculty
All the faculty members are well qualified. There are 8 faculty members having a PhD degree. 16 teachers are pursuing there PhD. Remaining have completed Masters. All are having a minimum teaching experience of 2 years. Everyone is very kind and polite and are always ready to help the students. The teaching is interactive. Students are shown PPTs and videos. There is a flip classroom so that students improve themselves and help them to lose stage fear and teach the students.
