- The faculties and college life is quiet good
- There are placement cells which provides help in giving you placement but you have to also put efforts from your side
- The infrastructure is quiet good and there are labs also
Dislikes
- Campus size is too short and you can easily cover the campus in less than 10 minutes
- There is restriction and students don't like it but it is also necessary
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Computer Science Engineering as there is scope of it in future. There is 1 faculty over 50 60 students. The faculties contain mainly master degree and some also has a doctorate in subjects.The teaching method is quiet good as they always ask students to study by projector aur black board. Teachers try there best for teaching students. The term exams come in every 4 5month and a student which study 2 3 days before exam can score good marks but he/she should have basic knowledge which he/she can get by attending classes regularly.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently in 2nd year in 3rd semester so my summer training is going on. In summer training the teacher are teaching about the programing language and also HTML and also about the excel ms word and ms presentation
Placement Experience
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Arround 800+ companies are visiting and there are around 8500+ offers made. The highest package was 44 lakhs made by the Microsoft and average package is arround 4 to 5 lakhs. 100% placement is there if a student has not Re in exam. I want to sit in placement but there are chances that i will not opt placement as i will prepare for govt exam or getting a master's degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees has hiked suddenly as it became a university with a NAAC A+ grade. Total college fees will be around 5 to 6lakhs for 4 years. Cgc Josh is a scholarship which is provided by the university itself and it help students to get upto 100% scholarship. Currently i am in second year so i have not got any job but my summer training is going on in which the teachers about programming and html.
Campus Life
The tech fest is conducted in April and it is the annual fest as it contains many dances and fashion activities also it was named as UTSAV CGC and it was organised by the students itself with the help of DSW department. You can get books if you take them in starting only and renew it every 28 days as the books are less and all students can't get books easily. You can easily get journals in library. Classes contains project and blackboard and only fan are present in class. You can enjoy sports activities and take part in many extra curricular activities as they are organised every month. NSS and NCC and I don't remember the names of all club but Rangmanch is for nukkad natak.
Hostel Facilities
In hostel room you will get a Cooler and there will be 4 students in a room and there are also AC rooms for students. The food provided in hostel is good in comparison to other college hostel and the menu changes every week and you get breakfast, lunch snacks and dinner. You can come and directly book the hostel by paying the semester hostel fees that is 110000 for cooler rooms and 135000 for AC rooms. I haven't rented a pg aur room but you can get them in the JHANJERI village.
Admission
As it is a private university than no entrance is there and students can get admission easily You can find the application directly on cgcjhanjheri.com. Applications are currently open and students can apply. The application fees is free. No there is no specific reservation but you can get scholarship by giving the cgcjosh test and if you score good score you can get upto 100% scholarship. No the admission process is quiet simple and good.
