The college is very good in terms of faculty and academics. But it can definitely be improved in many aspects like infrastructure and placement cell.
Entrance Preview
No. There was no entrance exam or interview. I got admission on merit basis there. Merit list was out and the marks was calculated from12th result.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was very good. As I belong to commerce background and my course was also of commerce, i got the advanced knowledge in my field. And there were many opportunities to learn and practice the theoretical knowledge in practical basis.
Internships Opportunities
No. College did not provide any internship. Whereas, the other options are available to students who want to join any private internship in their own. Students also used to do these internships during summer and winter breaks. The students need to take a NOC signed from the college authority to do the internship.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is quite good. It is getting better year by year. Almost 50%-60% out of total students who applied got selected. Many companies visited the campus, major companies are American Express, RBS, Foodpanda, Mahindra tourism. Average package was 1,50,000-2,00,000 per annum.
College Events
There were many cultural and society fests organized in the college. Annual fests also used to take take place every year in which the college authorities called celebrity singers. Cultural fests also took place like Diwali and big Indian festivals. Societies also used organised their programs from time to time and used to take part in inter college competitions in which students got the chances to showcase their talents.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was very affordable. It was approximately Rs.10,000 per annum which is a very affordable sum of money for a middle class family like mine. 0
Fees and Financial Aid
The college used to provide scholarships to meritorious students. The loan option and EWS option was also available for the economically weaker sections of the society.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities were there in college as there were many societies to showcase the hidden talents like there were dance society, drama society, singing society and there were sports teams also like cricket team and hockey team.
Hostel Facilities
No. There is no hostel available in college campus. Whereas, there are many Paying Guest options are available in nearby areas.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is good but the college did not provide any platform for student-alumni interaction. It was all on the students who wants to take the initiative and interact with their seniors.
Exam Structure
No. Exams were not tiring at all. There was semester system in our college. Exams used to held every 6 months. And there were internal assessments also. Exams was of standard time of 3 hours, which is quite normal.
Faculty
The faculty of my course was very experienced in their field, as well as they are highly qualified. They used to interact with us, and used to share their experience and the knowledge and point of views on various topics. They used to guide us for our future study plans and what we should opt for.
