KNIT Sultanpur - where you learn all aspects of life

I wanted to become a software engineer and that's why I opted for my dream branch CSE here. Here, the faculty is quite good. They are helpful and highly qualified as well. So you will like attending classes. The batch consists of 60 -70 students. Most of the faculty have completed their master's while some have done Ph.D. in their domain as well. We are taught using normal blackboard and chalk but some classes are also taken using smart board as well. We are required to give two class tests and one final exam each sem. You get enough time to prepare for the exam. It is very easy to secure a 7+ cgpa just by one-night of study if you attend some regular classes from time to time.

From 6 th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. This year companies like BEL, TCS, Wipro, Optum, etc. visited our campus. The majority of students of the noncore branches get placed each year while core ones suffer a bit. Well, I am aspiring to grab a good package from this college.

The total one year fee including the hostel fee is approx 73000 rupees. The total mess fee for one year is 45000 ( including 5000 caution money). You also get a state government scholarship of rs 56000. You can also get a fee waiver seat if you are among the rankers of your branch.

The campus is filled with flora and fauna. It is very green. Our college hosts Anubhuti as an annual fest which happened in Feb 2019 last time. It also hosts effulgence as a technical fest which previously happened in October 2017. Our college contains a very large library containing thousands of books to read. The classroom is equipped with well-maintained chairs and tables. It contains fans and ACs( in some rooms). Here we have a very good culture of sports. We have a football ground, cricket ground, basketball court, long tennis court, etc. There are many indoor games as well like table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. We have many clubs like the Pfac club, cultural club, literary club, mechanical engineering forum, etc.

The hostels provided to the first-year students are quite good. It contains well-maintained wooden chairs and tables. You also get an almirah. The bathroom is very clean and contains a shower as well. The food provided in the mess is not like you get at home but it is of good quality. You will get paneer, cola, dal, kofta, egg curry, and chicken (once a week) at regular intervals. You will have to check out the hostel allotted to you on the knit official website and then contact the hostel physically then you need to pay the mess fee and then you can live there. For the next years, you will be called for the hostel allotment and then you will get a hostel according to your cgpa. There are private hostels just outside the college so you can rent them. They are available at affordable rates (on average (2500 rs+ mess fee) per month.

To get admission into this college, you must have qualified to jee mains exam and secure a decent rank. Depending on your rank you will get a particular branch. You need to appear in UPTAC counseling to choose this college. The application fee will cost you 1000rs. The counseling will be started in October month if everything goes well. You can avail of reservation benefits as well like obc, sc, st, Pwd , freedom fighter, etc. I don't find any problem in the admission process. To suggest something I just want to make it fast.
