Course Curriculum Overview
From class 11th only I was too much interested in programming and nowadays the demand for a software engineer is increasing day-by-day that's why I opt for this course. There is a 20:1 ratio of students and teachers. Most of the faculties have done M.Tech from Jadavpur University.
Internships Opportunities
If you get into CSE or IT department rest assured you will get a placement for sure ( applies for 95% of the students). But the package will be mostly range bound as I've said earlier between 3.4 - 3.7 lpa that too TCS or the likes( off-campus however is a whole different ball game and good students manage to get excellent packages there, but it's not easy).
Fees and Financial Aid
I think the fee structure is not too much high. Here you have to pay 72000 during the 1st semester and 44000 in the 2nd to 8th semester, which means it will be around 4 lakhs in 4 years which is less than government colleges.
Campus Life
The campus of this college is about 30 acres. There are 3 playgrounds where all kinds of sports activities are performed. Every year there is an annual fest named - YOUTHOPIA. There are nearly 20 clubs like - Rotaract, NSS, Anhaita, sports, etc.
Admission
Students can apply to this college through WBJEE, JEE mains, and management quota. There is an 80% reservation for WBJEE Students. 10% for JEE mains Students and 10% for management quota. You can find the application form for WBJEE on wbjee. nic. in the website.
