Likes

Placements is very nice in this college,all CSE/it students get placed.
Campus is very nice ,a student can live a better campus Life here.
Teachers are well educated and all are graduated from jadavpur university.

Dislikes

Fees is quite high for a middle class family.
There is very less amount of fests and programs.
There is no hostel facilities provided by college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for electronics and communication engineering branch which is one of the most placed branch in heritage institute of technology. Faculty is very interactive and educated.Almost all are passed out of jadavpur university.4 surprise tests happen and final semester exam at the end of tests.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 72200 per year

Placement Experience

Placements in this college is quite nice in comparison to other private colleges of west Placements of CSE/it/ece is almost full.coziva was latest recruiter which offered 10lpa package to candidates under CSE it ECE.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester around 44k-45k charged.At the time of admission 72k is charged which including different kindsbif fee . SVMCM is very helpful for financial growth of students and college easily give it approval after varification processs.Except this tuition fee waiver is provided for the students registered under it

Campus Life

Campus Life is totally amazing.Heritage provides huge campus and social life to candidates.Anyone can borrow semester books from library and also extra books. College provides clubs, there is a lot of club related to social and technical.

Admission

A candidate must secured rank in wbjee exam and must be passed out by 65% marks in 12th by science stream. All information about admission and procedures will be provided on the website of wbjee and HITk. Tfw students and caste students of SC st OBC get relaxation in admission.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
