Fair Review about NIT Srinagar

Obviously i choose this course as i was interested in it. The faculty here in NIT Srinagar are brilliant,serious in teaching and do hardwrok for the students .This is compared with the private colleges.Talking about student ratio,there is 10:1 ratio of boy: girl. Qualification of the teachers is literally high as all have done Phd,some of them are HoD's ,some are Professors and aome are Assistant professors.All the teachers give their best to teach the students. The term exams timing as per new policy have changed from 3:00 hr to 2:30 hr.It is little bit difficult to pass as there are many assignments to do,which took a lot of time.Also you need some time to play.But literally speaking there is notuch difficulty level to pass the exams in NIT Srinagar.

There are many internship opportunities in NIT Srinagar.Since i have been here for less than a year so i dont know much knowledge about these.1 point i know that in 6th sem , we have to do 1 internship in or outside campus where ever we want .

There are many opportunities in NIT Srinagar as per job is concerned.Many companies visit here every year and took the students based on coding or branch companies.The students become eligible for 1st year.I dont know the names of companies but literally speaking there is some scope in NIT's.Talking about my Mechanical engineering branch , the highest package at 1 time is 72 lakh and average package is 7 lakh.The percentage of students getting placement is around 80_90% almost . After completing my degree, i will prepare for GATE first and will also prepare for job placements outside( off ) campus.

The fee structure is relatively higher than some NIT's.The fee structure for complete B tech changes as per your yearly income.If you belong to below 1 lakh category, then there is almost 327000 for entire B tech, after that it hikes as per hike in your yearly income. I have applied for NSP but still i didn't get any.Yes, there are job opportunities in NIT's like if you do coding , etc.

Since i am a muslim and there is the prohibition of getting into clubs .So i cant talk about that.But the life at the campus is melodious,extra ordinary and lifetime first experience.There is seen natural beauty everywhere.I still have not visited library as me and our room mates study in room.Some classrooms are beautiful and well maintained and some classes are average.But there are AC rooms too.There is also the organisation of some sport events.There is a football ground,cricket ground and badminton separate space too.I think most popular website and probably most trustful website is Quora.

The hostel facilities for ist and 2nd year students are not good enough but 3rd year and 4th year students get a well maintained room.Wifi connection for 1st and 2nd sem is not ao good but we get enough wifi(lan ) in 3rd and 4th year.Food is sometimes good and sometimes not .Shortly speaking satisfactory. The registration for hostel is at the time of Admission in NIT.It is quiet simple .But the semester fees for hostel is almost 8000 and mess fees around 21000.There is also the arrangement of PG rooms outside the campus.

After passing my 12th examination,i prepared for JEE for almost 6 months.Also there was a reservation to J and K students in NIT Srinagar.The eligibility of this course is the one who has med/non-med/both with at least 75% marks in the 12th. The application form for applying JEE entrance is foind almost on every website but nta official website is good to search. Yes,there is also a reservation in this NIT and for other NIT's too.There is also a particular reservation for girls as girls are very less interested in this field. The admission process is i think quiet easy.Just google out and find more about this. THANKS
