Library, laboratories, badminton court are few places I liked the most in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really good and has a great scope, the student crowd is really nice, and supportive faculty members are good enough to tackle every student personally and manage the students. Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable with great teaching skills and techniques. Exams are conducted regularly throughout the course which gives a brief summary of well-prepared students and evaluation is done from time to time.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are usually caste benefits available which can be availed by the students using valid caste certificates and some other concessions might be provided. Fees usually don't hike much but it might vary as per college rules still the fees are quite affordable for students.

Campus Life

Annual college fest is conducted by faculty and students every year, and various extracurricular activities and events are conducted by different faculties throughout the year which gets great student participation. The library has a lot of great books and journals available, it also has a comfortable reading room for focusing on studies the library staff is very supportive and polite. Classrooms are well equipped and ventilation is good as well. All classrooms have digital e-learning boards and projectors The seating arrangement is quite comfortable and the lighting is good as well. Various sports events are conducted in the college the college has a badminton court and gymkhana for all students. NCC training is conducted too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
