College is good

Most of the faculties are really good and supportive but there is always an exception like chemistry so here you will see also some of the teachers is not that much supportive. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:40 . Teachers are highly qualified. As an IIIT student, I want to ensure you that the academics is really tough there will be examination on a regular basis like every month.

Yes, there is an opportunity of getting an internship and also getting a stipend with that if your skills are good. For this, you have to work on lots of projects you have to prepare before taking an internship.

There are good placement statistics. Our grades are always increasing in terms of highest placement and average placement. But this year percent placement declined from 90% to 82% in 2023 but the average is about 14.06 lpa and 12.03lpa is the median salary. this time highest placement is about 86 lpa. And the lowest is 6 lpa. Some students pursue a higher degree and go to foreign and some of them prepare for gate and many more.

There is no scholarship provided by the institute. if you have a state scholarship or some other scholarship then you can avail of that scholarship. Some of them I know who take the scholarship are from Madhya Pradesh. I also want to give you an idea that you have to study hard for placement because the teaching techniques of all institutes are based on the Indian education system so to get a good job you have to work hard. As an ECE student it is tougher.

There is one fest (Abhivyakti in the month of February) which is held once a year. Previously there was no club but now there are some new clubs like singing, dancing, debating, acting and lots more. There is a library on our campus that is not big but you will get books according to your requirements and there is also some religious books like bhagwat gita and many more. There is a ground in the campus where students play but that is not well developed and there is a sports championship that is held once in a year.

To get Admission to IIT NAGPUR you have to clear the jee mains entrance exam by scoring good percentile as for the general category it is above 97 for CSE and other special courses and above 95 for ECE and for other minorities group there was relaxation but girls quota has not provided. The admission process is done through jossa and csab counseling.
