Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was very interested in computer science, so I decided to get a computer science course. The faculty of computer science was very helpful and good. there were 2 divisions, A and B in each there were approximately 80 to 85 students. The teaching was very good and understanding of the teachers and also the teachers were very useful and have friendly nature. The term exams were held in the gaps of 3 months and their difficulty increases gradually but not so hard that an average student may fail.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Tech Mahindra has offered our college many internship opportunities for third-year students. As they also provide the stipend monthly or weekly. we have to complete the task assigned by the supervisor.

Placement Experience

4.5

The students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. The companies visit for placement like Infosys, tata, tech mahindra and etc. The average package is 5lpa and the high highest package goes to 25lpa. The students get placement who'll are above 80%. After I take the degree I am gonna work at Infosys company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are different as the courses are different. Each student can pay the case fee if the fees are more than the student has the option of instalment so it gets easier to pay. It provides many scholarships like post matrix and others.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest is held by the name Nirmiti and Infinity. And this fest is conducted in the month of November. There is a huge library which contains lots of books and journals in it. The classroom contains everything like good benches, good fans, projectors and etc. There are many sports activities done like football and all, at the college level.

Admission

I passed out my 12th from Nowrosjee Wadia college. As I experienced good education, I decided to admission to the same college with a bachelor's in computer science. The eligibility of this course was that the student must pass out with a 12th percentage above 70% and in PCM. The application forms were prob in the Office of Computer Science, the application form was free of cost and there was time to fill the form till the merit list starts. As there are reservation benefits, the sc category gets more benefits. In my point of view, there is no need for improvement in the process of admission, as everything is done in a more compatible way and faster service.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
